got some great recipes from the OS board.. just a bit nervous for the week ahead as its my first full week as a DFW!
    Im sure we'll be ok.
all ive got going through my head are mealplans, where can I save money, where can I earn more money!!

Im also eyeing everything up wondering what price i could get for it!!

just cant wait til next friday as its payday for me, also find out what payrise im getting this year. Im hoping its big enough to make quite a difference to my monthly wages.. im not banking on it tho.

I think im slightly addicted to this site now but at the moment that can only be a good thing as Im learning a great deal.

the way things are at the mo, when we get paid we can afford to pay £300 off the inlaws debt and over pay the mbna cc by £20.

also OH has a freelance job in the pipeline and she has already named a price of £225 so hopefully that should happen in the next cpl weeks and that can be paid off the inlaws debt too... if all works out then thats quite a big chunk off that debt :j

personal challenge... no spending until payday and then only the bills and the last few groceries to set us up for the month!!

    Hi Guys,

I am finding this addictive too and definitely keeping my spirits up. I have got my daughters present to buy this week and then no more spend. Put my first £2 coin in my money box today.

Still getting used to this site and kk has been a star so far.

Where do I find the OS board, freebies board etc - apologies if i appear stupid!!!

Hope everyone has had a good and cheap weekend!

hey racer, yeah I found the freebies board! im going to have a more in depth look later when im meant to be working :p

here goes everyone... my first full DFW week, im on the early shift so after the commute, will be home at the lovely time of 5pm (maybe earlier as the boss is away ;)

had a good weekend and im still raring to go... everyone here is giving me so much encouragement and it really is working.

should be a no spend day today, taking lunch into work and our firm gives us a £5 lunchcard every monday to use in the staff canteen, so thats pretty much breakfast all week sorted!
also its free tea, coffee, water and juice all day too so that helps!!

dug out some beef that was hiding at the back of the freezer! im thinking im going to attempt a homemade curry tonight!

hope you all have a great day

Forgot to add yesterday, sign up to seefilmfirst for free cinema tickets.. there is a thread on the freebies board somewhere. You can print 2 tickets off to see film previews for free at selected cinemas.
I'm guessing by earlier comments on the thread that there is one near you that has regular screenings. :D

Hi everyone... another no spend day for me and got to leave work early!

im really worried at how positive im being!
when is it going to run out?? :D

going to rustle up a nice dinner soon for me and the OH, beef rogan josh, using the stuff from the store cupboard and some beef that I totally forgot about!

came home from work with 2 free pints of milk again :j

cantcope... registered with film thingy, hopefully they'll be some films in my area soon otherwise the cinema will be a thing of the past :(

ive got an hour or so before OH gets in and "forces" me into doing a workout dvd that I sort of promised we'd do together, the things you agree to when ur half asleep!!

still waiting on a letter from barclays r:e bank charges claiming. I know its a long shot but worth a try ;)

hope everyones having a good day today... lovely weather makes all the difference to my mood!
