It's on imeasure, but if you have just joined I think it takes a couple of weeks to get the ratings, it's based on your usage for the week before the week you have just entered, if that makes sense!0 -
Hello
Landlord has eventually sent electrician back out to see if he can repair the storage heater in our kitchen (it hasn't worked since we moved in here a year ago ) so fingers crossed it's fixed. All going well, it would allow me to switch off the electric convector heater I'm having to use, which is running at 12.88p per kWh as opposed to 5.18p per kWh it would cost on cheap rate for the storage heater if it worked. Hope, hope, hope it's fixed.I reserve the right not to spend.

Got a C and a D for last week first time I've had a D in ages but it has been close to 0 C outside all week wtih an icy mist most days.
Gas this week is 152 kWh and electricity 19 kWh. Carbon is 37 kg and number 29 on the list. Still lower than last year though.0 -
I see the number of users on imeasure has reached the 500 mark.0

I can't get onto the imeasure site today to check my results, all I am getting is a page load error0
-
Site is working again now
Results for this week are -
Gas - 65 kWh (this is up 23kWh on last week as heating has been on for 30mins daily
Electricity - 63 kwh (up 3 kWh from last week - think this is because I used the oven a couple of times rather than the ramoska? Will have to check readings next time I use it)
Total carbon - 46 kg (up 6 kg on last week)
Badges - A+ / A+ (same as last week)
2nd on the list. As we are right down south we have been able to get by with less heating than most. I think that will change this week - it's going to be a cold one!0 -
Hi guys, my electricity has taken a hammering after landlord sent out electrician to repair the broken kitchen heater (it hasn't worked since we moved here last November). It now means there are heaters on in 4 rooms and the kitchen one had to be left on high for them to check it was fully working, so it looks like I could be hitting between £35 and £40 this coming week. However - the house is warm and the fire wasn't lit last night, so there may be savings to be made on coal & logs.I reserve the right not to spend.

Meter readings for the week just submitted to i-measure.
Electricity 1kwh down on last week, but gas up by 34kWh !!
But both are considerably lower than they were this week last year
Household CO2 up from 65kg to 71kg
ETA: Just entered figures to providers site, in order to get my latest 4-weekly bill. Scanned back to this point last year, and definitely showing a reduction.
As of 16/12/2008 my bill showed a credit of £144.07, and I was paying £60pcm
Made 8 payments at that level (Jan thru Aug inclusive), then 1 of £53 (Sep) and 3 of £47 (Oct thru Dec inclusive).
After production of my latest bill I'm now £162.65 in credit - so paid less and in credit by a further £18.58
Will give it until the weather starts to warm up (hopefully Easter-ish if not sooner), but if I'm still building up credit (or haven't eaten into it much) I think I'll call and ask them to force another annual review (which is what they did to cause the reduction in September)Cheryl0 -
I am currently using 55 units (m2), which equates to 595 kwh per week for gas? At a rate of £0.037 per kwh this equals £22.00 per week in GAS.
The gas boiler is on 30 mins am for HW and then CH is on from 4pm to 10pm but switched on and off depending on temperature.
Does one think 595 kwh is a lot?

I live in a four bedroom end of terrace. This time last year I used an average 430 kWh of Gas each week. That was running the CH as needed (probably about 4 or so hours a day) but without hot water. At the time we had an electric shower and so were using this instead.
Taking into account the fact that we have one 'joined on' wall that we don't lose so much heat through, and the fact that we weren't using the HW, I wouldn't say your use was really huge compared to average.
Do you use imeasure? If so, if you set your comparison reading with other 4 bed detatched, you should get an idea of how much you use compared to others in a similar situation.0
