    Hi everyone

Have been a wuss and following your words of wisdom from afar but finally want to become official! Please may I have a #.

Have been on DMP with CCCS since the end of Jan and have my first review this eve so fingers crossed that all will be OK. Have not told any friends or family about my disasterous debts but you guys have been a lifeline in helping me realise I'm not the only one to have got into this situation. Long may it continue.

    CF xx

Good luck with this evening and you are no wuss doing this alone for so long you deserve a medal!

Have you thought what you are going to do re the ones that have accepted CCCS agreement?

Yeah, tell them that CCCS screwed it up!

CCCS will be writing to them all withdrawing the offer telling them that they no longer act for me. We shall see. All my figures are within guidelines and so they will have to like it or lump it.

Definately see where you are coming from but its something you could have done without!

    oh big pants!

My brain is tattered today with work and family stuff so can't think of anything wonderfully creative but you sound like you have it in hand anyway!

    Note to all:

Don't let my ranting and raving about CCCS put you off of contacting them.

I think I've been unlucky and failed to take enough control when I needed to.

Sorry you made me laugh :T

Good on you for thinking about others though. I read back through the old topic looking for some information for someone and noted your support of others - you're not a bad old stick ;):p

Whose big pants? Yours or mine? Maybe I should write my next letter to Lloyds on a pair of big pants?

Quite honestly, this latest thing is an inconvenience rather than a disaster. I have better things to worry about. Family stuff and full weekends. We're never still so there's no time to sit and mope.

Hey bet they wouldn't loose that letter ;)

I wonder that, I used to work all weekend and now I don't but I think how the hell did I find time to work. We seem to spend every weekend chasing our tails.

Got a hopefully nice one this weekend going to a talent night of the young people at the local theatre so I can sit and swell with pride :D That is obviously the day after the council throws us out of premises for two years - not that I am bitter (hence the Town Hall meeting on Friday night!)

    Can you hear that......?

It's the sound of me resisting the temptation to make smutty remarks around the subject of my bad old stick and your big pants.....

Thank goodness I've not posted this.
  • Hiya,

Theres no big reason accept that he has always thought im better and handeling money etc, Im just going to leave it till i have to tell him (When we remortgage in 3 years, by then i should be half way through my DMP so my balance should be dramatically less...

Thanks for the advice, i know you are right, just being a chicken...!!!

Hi, I was in the same position as you, and put off telling my OH but I did and he was great. He had noticed that I seemed much happier etc. He still doesn't know the amount and as we aren't financially joined I don't think he needs to. So please think carefully and go for it!

  • Hi

Well I had got myself into such a state re my review last night and was in a real panic by the time they called. What a waste of energy and worrying as it was absolutely fine- phew!! All continues as normal hopefully. All creditors except HSBC seem to be OK. Am loving the pants letter concept- perhaps something to consider!!!

    Have a good day all.
