Part of the Furniture 500 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
The Link are sold out now but Halfords are advertising the TomTom V3 for £99 and it is now available online http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_369385_langId_-1_CarSelectorCatalogId__CarSelectorGroupId__varient__categoryId_139980_crumb_84370_parentcategoryrn_139980

Be warned though, it only has 512mb of memory and isn't able to be upgraded to Europe. If there is any chance you may want to drive in Europe, get the Ebuyer deal as it is the cheapest I can find. If UK is all you want I think this is the best deal although there are deals that include a free case for a few quid more.
  • Seems Amazon have lowered their price overnight, TomTom One V3 UK is now 94.99 delivered.

M&S have sat navs on offer which means they have a Garmin 250 limited edition one with full UK & Europe for under £100.

Hi , can I have USA map loaded into this as well?
  • The TomTom ONE V3 has generally droped in price as the new V4's are out. We check and compare prices and currently the best price at the moment is £93.99 from The Link or £94.99 from Amazon.
  • Tom Tom V3 is £99.99 at John Lewis with a Guarantee of 2Years, its got to be worth paying the extra fiver over other slightly cheaper sites for another years peace of mind.
  • M&S has two year free guarantee on all technology products.

Viking Direct have Becker Sat Navs on clearance prices.
Becker Traffic assitant Pro, 7916TMC. Maps for 37 countries and commentary in up to 18 languages are pre-installed on the included SD memory card, so set-up is a breeze.

As well as getting you safely to your destination, these units also help you unwind and listen to your favourite music (MP3/WMAs) while you drive. You can also store and view your favourite pictures with the Picture Viewer.

And these units aren’t just ideal for travelling by car. The light, portable design means you can also use them to find your way on foot.
    Was £350 + VAt £411-25. Now £119 + Vat £139-83.

Becker Traffic assist Highspeed II 7988. Same Spec as above Reduced from £470 inc Vat to £116-33 inc Vat.

    Hi,
Just bought the Garmin for 99 at argos.
  • Thanks Martin - I got a TomTom V3 from Tesco for £97 on a double points deal!

Have also discovered that Motorola phone chargers have the right connection to recharge TomTom's from a mains supply, so don't shell out for the official charger if you have these already lying around!

(Amazon also have some very good deals on cases and covers in their marketplace - cheaper than Ebay!)
  • I have this SatNav and I must say, it really is that good. For those who complain that the maps are not great ... you probably did not upgrade to the latest edition. Maps are by TeleAtlas I think which is what the more expensive units use. It DOES have 7 digit post code search, but you need to install the update correctly. NB!! The directions on the Ebuyer website are incorrect. Check the reviews on their site, someone has posted the correct method.

This little beauty also plays Mp3 and videos, and if you buy yourself a 6Gb+ memory card (they are quite cheap) you can put entire feature length movies on it. Nifty!

As for the navigation itself ... if you are new to SatNav you should give it a runthrough first before you set off. You should do exactly what it says, not what you think you should do, and you won't make one wrong turn. It also has a pretty rapid automatic redirect facility, that will get you back on route again if you do stray - without any input from you.

The mount is sturdy and infinitely adjustable, and it holds the unit perfectly.

All in all, I am very pleased with this unit, and the price makes it an absolute must have!
