The TomTom One IQ Routes edt has lane assistance, I bought mine from Asda in store for £80 yesterday (it's £149.99 in currys). Hurry up though, rumour is that Asda don't want to sell sat navs anymore so this is why they are selling off their stock on the cheap.0

I don't know about currys being the cheapest. But it's worth having a look at the other supermarkets i.e. tesco, morrisons etc, plus halfords as they sometimes have good deals on sat navs too.0

Halfords now have discount vouchers to buy sat navs in their online store. Here's the link:

I will be looking for a Tomtom Live / HD the one with the subscription to real time traffic info. There's bewildering variety of models at this feature level with wildly varying prices. What's best - just the cheapest one with HD / Live?
Also, do any other satnav makers offer an equally high resolution of traffic info and real time re-routing?0 -

I have a 940LIVE and the traffic feature is good, it also has a Google search feature on it for finding addresses that you don't know. They do the 540 and an XL version with LIVE as well now.
Currently the LIVE features only work in the UK but from next year they will work in European countries that have the feature as well, I think this is due to roaming charge changes on the mobile phone networks.0 -

Can anyone help please, DD has asked for a sat nav as her xmas pressie.
Halfords have this Navman M450D Sat Nav - UK, ROI & Europe for £99.99 instead of £199.99, I have looked online and cannot find any reviews for this model.
Would this be considered a good buy for her, I have no idea when it comes to technology, any help or advice would be appreciated.
