Not sure how old the 910 is, TomTom are now upto the 950 and I have a 940 which is about 18 months old. But as long as it does everything you need and the maps are upto date, you should be OK.
Just looked at the TomTom site and it looks like they are offering a free 1 years LIVE services on the GO x50 units.
The LIVE services were £8 per month when I last looked.
So that would bring the price closer to the 910 price if you are after the LIVE services.
I have never used the MP3 player or the Handsfree on my 940 due to the fact that my car radio already does all this for me, so I'm not sure how useful it really is.0 -
There are some current deals where Tomtom offers 1 year free sub to LIVE on a new Sat Nav that uses the service. Also M&S (large stores with tech dept) have in store offer, Tomtom LIVE widescreen (not sure which model) was £200 now £150.0

If you buy direct from TomTom you can get a years Live services included in the price.

Not too sure if this is available elsewhere, but it might be.
I have a 950 with Live services, but the server has been down all weekend for "maintenance". - no failover server either.
I put in a complaint and got my subscription extended.0 -

Amazon are doing the GO 750 Live with the 1 yr free subscription for £205.29 - tomtom.com is £249.99 for the same deal. All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0 -

I just bought a Navigon 2510 Explorer EU 23 from the Navigon.com shop.
The ticket price was £129.99 plus £5 or so for delivery total £134.xx, No problem.
I noticed in the checkout that there was a Paypal option which I selected (It suited me to do so) and when I got to the final screen, the price was now £110.63 with £3.91 postage. Total £114.54
I don't think this is a Euro exchange rate thing (navigon.de price EUR149 = £129), I can't confirm that there is a discount for PayPal, but by doing so I got it basically £20 cheaper.
Happy little money saver! :j0 -
On 25 May I said I'd just bought a Navigon EU 2510 satnav.
On 16 Jul we went on holiday to Austria and Frau Navigon as she is now known, did a superb job 2500 miles door to door and around the country without a hitch. Complicated lane junctions on autobahns and motorways were shown clearly and accurately.
No criticisms. A few things I'd like to improve but thats probably just personal. Very good coverage of tourist sights including phone numbers.
At one point she did say 'Please turn soon', I can relate to that.
Update software works well and I've had absolutely no problems. Bit disappointing that after guiding us to our destination accurately and efficiently we reward Frau Navigon by switching her off and putting her back in her box!
Still a happy little (suntanned) moneysaver0 -
Just ordered TomTom XL Live IQ Routes Edition UK and ROI from Amazon for £124.99, which includes free LIVE sub for a year (apparently worth £96!)Anna :beer:0
