:T WELL DONE:T
You have done the hardest part already:j I am really proud of you.
You can now face the debt together as a united force. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
WOOOHOOOO! Loopy I'm so glad you told him and that he took it so well
We did say that having an action plan for how to repay it would help - it's one thing to be told you have huge debts, another to be told you have huge debts and this is how it's going to be fixed and this is what I'm doing and what YOU'RE doing.
I was hoping that he would feel awful for you being too afraid to tell him like that - it means he really really does love you and hopefully this will help you both be far more open and honest about finances (something which a lot of people STILL consider to be a taboo to talk about).
Please do keep posting as we'd love to know how it's going and you know we're alwyas here for adviseDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Hi
There is a famous quote somewhere (think it is Mandela) roughly along the lines of
"Being brave is not feeling good about something and doing it; being brave is feeling the fear and still doing the thing that frightens you".
So well done for being so brave, now you can both move on. In fact, if you are both working at it, the chances are your relationship will be stronger. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
well done....you've turned the corner...take care. For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070
