Rainmac - I'm just a scrooge - something i inherited from my Dad. I can't wait to spend in Birmingham!! You beat me to it - of course I don't mind.

No you're not a scrooge, you get more for your money which is a great thing!!!

    Okay, some pics :o
I've created an album in photobucket so I can just post one link here instead of a dozen or so! I don't think it's a very conventional scrapbook and certainly not up to the standard that most of you would produce, but DD loves it :D. I'm sure I'd have done it a lot differently if I was starting it now, but hey-ho.

Here it is then: DD's scrapbook

Thank you so much for shring your dd's scrapbook it is fab and has given me some ideas re different ways to presnt journalling.

    Thanks xxx

Hi I am sure u have had lots of answers to this Jordan Shannon but I haven't read down to the end of the thread yet!!

Anyway, I used Artymiss once but had a bad experience, so haven't used them again but others on here do use this site. I have used Madaboutcards and although the postage wasn't cheap I did a big order and it arrived promptly and I would definitely use them again (they have a good £1 section and llots of offers). I have used charmedcardsandcrafts and card craft uk as it was the cheapest for a certain item I wanted and offers free P & P. I have used craftsuperstore and docrafts.

I look at lots of sites as I love bargains but I usually stop myself ordering as I don't really need it all especially as I am yet to complete one lay out!!!

How long have u been scrapbooking for?? Would love to see any of your creations!

How are yr plans for the NEC??
  • Plans for the NEC are on hold at the mo as i have doctors tomorrow, they won't say what it is about, bit worried as they have never called before. I haven't been doing it long and i have only made an exploding box and a rubbish valentines card but i am pretty proud of the exploding box :D

Thank you for the sites and stuff, its so nice to know where people buy from as it helps me(obviously haha)

    Hugs

JordanShannon - good luck with the doctors tomorrow. I have never bought any grungeboard before but I had a quick google and these seem the cheapest so far and they have a good selection:

delivery is 1.95 so quite reasonable. I'll be back in a bit with more links.
  • Thank you so much melissa. :D

As for paper pads you can't go wrong with K and Co. They have a good selection here and the prices are good:
    http://www.paperarts.co.uk/index.php?sect=590
all the ranges come with matching embellishments, but I never buy any from these online stores, everything I have bought to go with my K and Co papers has been bought from ebay where you can save pounds per pack.

Basic grey also do some gorgeous paper packs, do crafts are having a sale on their products at the minute. I think it was 6.49 for 18 12x12 sheets, then you get an alphabet and an icon sheet (both 12x12 size). Postage is a bit steep but the products are so much cheaper there. I also bought the matching buttons, brads and rub-ons. If you want the matching 6x6 paper pads then you can get them from a site called "theglitterpot", its a pound delivery up to a 10 quid spend. They are half price at 2.47 and are gorgeous.

Rainmac - I love those papers too, the look so fresh. I started another project on Saturday - a paperbag album for my Mum. I'm using my basic grey archaic papers and the are gorgeous, I think I'll have to buy some extra.
