melissa - I have sort of seen some of the new Basic Grey stuff but don't want to look too much because I know I'll love them . My Two Scoops pack came today and it is beautiful, too lovely to use really ;)

It is a style of paper from Basic Grey. Will go and find you the link for it.

mumoftwo - thanks. Really pretty paper - tempted but thinking about a little album of mums photos for her friend, blue springs to mind, something a bit florally or maybe I can get a mixture in a 6 x 6 pack.
Mustn't tempt myself with any more.............:rotfl:

On subject of album for mums photos - I've found in my hoard of bits and pieces a wooden covered photo album -has 'memories' on the front. Thought it might be ideal for mums photos for her friend but where do you start with pretty papers if its an album with slide in pockets ? Do you cut the paper to fit the pockets and add photo and embelishments ? I've never seen one done before and it would be nice to make use of this little one.

May be worth looking at the Glitter Pot as they have some Basic Grey 6 x 6 pads atm with no p & p until midnight tonight.

DO you page protectors in your album. If so you just slide the LO into. Only problem with these is that if you want to look t things then you have to take them out. handy if little fingers may get on them though.

Loads of things in my head for mums friends photo scrapbook..............but just realised I've got foster daughters garden quotes scrapbook to finish yet.! Started on it and then what with everything going on it went right out my head -stupid or what.
So, this morning I tore out the garden quote I'd got, make some extra strong coffee and tried to 'age' them a bit before I stick them in. They're looking ok so maybe this afternoon I can stick them in the book.
Next one is tiny one for sons birthday............not sure of a 'theme' for that yet

Not stupid at all mary, you've had rather a lot on. You've got several books on the go haven't you. I like the sound of your wooden fronted album.

Thanks the the Two Scoops link mumofjusttwo, had a proper look at my papers yesterday and they are beautiful.

I caved in last night and ordered the 12x12 pack of two scoops, plus another 6x6 archaic pad - the papers are fab for boys pictures!!

rainmac - beginning to wish I'd ordered some now.............they are lovely.
Getting on well with foster daughters scrapbook..............coffee staining worked well = I did wonder as last time I had a go it didn't..............lol
Was good to loose myself in something like that - feels like its been an age since I did anything.
Need to make a start on my sons little one now. Think I'll do a few 'life quotes' that might apply to him.............not sure what to use as embellishments though.
