Wow - I feel so appreciated at the moment:D
Just fed and watered Mr TM and 6 kids (not all mine) - HM spag bol followed by baked jam sponge with HM jam and custard. Every plate cleared and kids asking for more, even after I'd scraped the last bits out of the pans. Freshly squeezed watermelon and grape juice too - so all very healthy. I even have the parents dooling when they pick the kids up
Mind you, fresh bread was also cooling in kitchen.
Feet up time now - for, oh, the next 2.3 milliseconds (I hear the thump of toddler feet approaching)

Morning
Didnt sleep well again and am doing nothing but rest today. Its gonna be a bad day..lol.
Anyways, got 4 huge lamb chops out last night and am going to put in SC with leek, carrots, chick peas, broth mix, potatoes & a lamb stew sachet (bogof as asda 18p)which is delish! Might add a couple of dumplings later for an hour to fill up OH. Should be done in 4 hours and will be plenty to freeze too. DD will have macoroni cheese for dinner tonight as she doesnt like the stew
My SIL came yesterday and did some clearing and cleaning of 3 double cupboards, glass cabinets (which look great) and a ton of ironing (about 16 shirts, 3 pairs of pj's, 3 tops, 2 skirts). She was here for about 6 hours but we spent about 1.5hrs nattering then chatted the whole time she was here doing the work
Have 1 washload to do-already in WM just need to switch on and hopefully can be dried outside. DW needs emptying which DD can do, then a sweep through and all done. Have a bike that needs sending today that sold on Ebay-so will book that up in a minute. A dyson that was sent to me by mistake that needs collecting and another parcel that needs sending off
I will catch up later-need to get something to eat so I can take me pain killers.
Have a great day.

Good morning! It's a beautiful sunny day here today so once I've given the kitchen a seeing-to and hoovered round downstairs I'm going to wander down to the market to get some fresh veggies and also a pair of fleecy gloves to send to DS up north at uni, who won't have packed his
Got some braising steak defrosting to make steak and ale pie for tea <yummy> along with, hopefully, some of the fresh veggies, depending on what's on the market stall.
Have a great day, everyone! FF0 -
Morning all,
Working today - well will be in about 20 mins.
Need to make some pastry for a chicken and veg pie later, will make some cheesy savoury pasty for lunch too.
Sorted out all my fabric box yesterday during various naps and am now raring to get the machine out and get some stuff made up for the craft fair. Will have a go at the salt dough later too, will make it when I make my pastry - just need to make sure I don't get them mixed up! :rotfl:
Really need to do some cooking for the freezer this weekend, hardly anything in there. Have friends coming on sunday for the day so will do another chicken in the slow cooker, so moist it was lovely. Has anyone tried doing a turkey in the SC yet???? I'm seriously thinking about it, we're having our Christmas day on boxing day with all the family coming - would make it much easier if I could just shove the turkey in on Xmas day and not worry about it.
Got a box of stuff I need to sort for ebay too, some clothes and toys. Will try and get it photo'd and weighed during lunch time nap then maybe list it tomorrow night, DH is in London tomorrow and won't be home till late.
Time for a quick coffee I think , need something to perk me up a bit, been having horrendus dreams for the past few nights, making me soooooooo tired and worn out all day!
Anyway, hope you all have a wonderful day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
DD not so well so taking her to see GP this morning.
Loaf in breadmaker was ready at 7.15 so that is one job done.
Early Christmas pressies arrived for daughter's friends (lovely heart shaped pendants- just right for 12 year olds) - bought in sale at jewellery site online.
Planning pizza for tea and I will need to make something that fits in with Slimming World for me.
Mountain of ironing but poorly daughter will have to come first.
The notebook that I use to plan presents is coming in really useful as I can tick things off as they are ordered and arrive."This site is addictive!"

Good Morning All,
Decided to get back on the healthy eating/diet and exercise routine, lost a lot of weight about 18 months ago, and managed to keep it offBut didn't manage to lose the last 14 lbs  So going to try again, but being away in hotels and having to eat in restaurants doesn't make it easy, but going to try again anyway.
Trying Ebay at the moment, I've only used Ebay as a seller before (although OH buys), but busy investigating and pricing things up. Not quite sure if it's going to be a moneysaver though, although I do try to price things up thoroughly before bidding. It's too easy to click on the bid now, but it's only if its a bargain really
It does seem silly that it's cheaper to buy things made in Europe from the US sellers, than to buy them here.
Anyway, trying to join a local shopping loyalty/discount scheme as we're likely to be here on and off for a while, but had problems with the language, babblefish doesn't include Finnish!! Going to try to hand the form in tonight, the cards give really good discounts in restaurants as well as vouchers (we think!!) for normal supermarket shopping. We got one's for Carrefour in France in the summer, so why not here.
Anyway, I'm waffling now, so bye.0
