Might do another fruit cake in the BM today as the one last week was very nice but will cut back abit on the sugar as it was sooo sweet. Also, took some pictures yesterday of some bits to put on ebay, so if feeling up to it later-I will put on turbo lister to upload thursday for a 10 day auction. Every penny counts
Having porridge for breaky (DD & OH having scrambeled eggs/toast), lunch for me is a roast lamb dinner and dinner is going to be toad in hole, roasties and carrots.
Willtry and pop back later

Morning all!!! Hugs to those who need them
All the ironing is DONE!!! :j I set the ironingboard up in the bedroom last night and ironed from around 8.15 until 11pm!!! I could tell I've been rushing the washing lately though - sweatshirt & poloshirt belonging to DD both still covered in mudPlus I've shrunk a t-shirt belonging to OH - I put it in the TD and shouldn't have
Thankfully it's just the length so I will try to re-stretch it. I've still got washing hanging around the house - stuff in the livingroom and I was going to take some to the laundrette today (so thats currently in a large suitcase on the sofa) but the weather is supposed to be warm and dry so I think I'll leave it
Need to post one ebay parcel and sort out the listings for uploading tomorrow - including our "old" car
Better go - DD is complaining that the wind is making spooky noises in the bathroom so she won't go in there - there's not even any wind :mad:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning All
Another good night, Spud has now slept through 4 nights running:D:D:D
Need to have a bit of a general tidy up & clean through today as have guests comming for dinner tomorrow night & lunch on saturday and I daren't leave anything until the actual day with Spud now! I feel I need to be organized well in advance in order to relax:rolleyes:
Am making a serious effort to get back on track with the monthly spending thir month as it has all gone to pot the last 3, have planned meals for the next 2 weeks (leftover honey chicken casserol tonight so no prep:D) and mos tof the meals are comming out of freezer stock so hopefully won't be spending too much.
Now, anyone got any tips on how I can get Spud to take an afternoon nap instead of a morning snooze & an early evening deep sleep?
Have a good day everyone;)Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0 -

I may have to take a leaf out of your book when it comes to the ironing except that it may take me even longer!!!
I have tried introducing the iron to the laundry and leaving them in decent privacy to get on with it- but it does not seem to work.
May make pizza for tea and still trying to stay on slimming world plan so I will have something else.
DD has gone back to school but they both come back at 1pm as it is an "open evening".
Youngest is complaining bitterly that she does not like the school skirt I got her and where is the other one she likes?
Either in 2 mountains of ironing or still festering in her pit of a bedroon would be my guess!"This site is addictive!"

Need to go down bank and put a cheque into my savings after the shopping has been delivered from tescos, spent far too much money on grocerys this month already, not sure whats going wrong but kept all my receipts, so will go through them at the end of the month.
Might send dp to might aunties to get a cockeral, so that will save us a bit of money (yes It wil be alive when he picks it up), There is nothing better than day fresh organic chicken. He prepares it all and plucks it don't think my tummy could handle all that.

Hello
Well, my PC is playing up so I'll try this post again
Had a poor night's sleep - thanks DS1
Had a good evening last night tho' - cousins popped in for a cuppa and I hardly one of them so good to catch up.
Today I am aiming to make a leek and spud soup for lunch and CQ's Chicken Korma for tea, may even give the Naan bread a go too. Have to go into town this aft to pay Mr TM's cc bills and will look for my Xmas pressie - I want a new bike as my old one is 20+ years old and has done 000's of miles (but not in the past few years:)) Want a road bike, not a mountain bike so will have to go to a proper bike shop I think.
OK, hair needs drying, 20 min blitz needs doing and DW and washing machine are awaiting their loads. See ya.
