    Hello everyone....

Went clothes shopping this morning for the first time since MSE as I have nothing warm to wear.

Pre MSE It would have been river island type places.. but today I have been for the first time to Peacocks... not the best quality in the world however have a really nice winter wardrobe for 80 quid!!! 4 tops, jeans, skirt, nice dress, long cardigan, pj's slippers, umberella, and underwear... I am gob smacked.

A little cleaning this afternoon and now getting ready to do a night shift at work. may say hello before I get to go to bed at around 8 in the morning..

Even better try Primark if there is one near you - I have been amazed by the good value and quality of their stuff!

    Morning All

Not a good night....but life goes on

1st washload all ready to go by 6am-so will be ready by just after 7, then when OH gets himself out of bed, the bedding needs stripping and washed also. Im hoping the weather will be dry so that they can both be hung outside :D Toilet needs cleaning but that takes about 1 min as its done daily. Need to do some auctions today for ebay then upload later from turbo lister but will run for 10 days so people have 2 weekends to look ;) OH will do a quick sweep, then all done for the day.

Yesterday OH cleaned down our gas fire in lounge-took it apart and wiped it all down with flash and looks gleaming-it was so dusty behind :o

Breakie today is porridge for me & dd and a sausage in roll for dh (left drom toad in hole last night), lunch will be breaded cod, mash and peas (for OH & I) and dinner Im not sure yet-maybe shepards pie/chicken & asparagus pie

    Anyways, will catch up later.

    Have a good day.

    Morning

Well I'm at work nice and early again!!! Not feeling good at all. My bug gradually got worse yesterday, with my nose bunging up and voice gradually going - good for a news reader!!

Had about an hour's sleep, as I just couldn't breath and head was killing. I need to shake this by Saturday for my sister's wedding, but can't see that happening.

Got an epic day ahead of me. Lunchtime meeting, and an appointment at 4.30pm, before having my hair cut at 7pm

I too have porridge for breakfast

Hope everyone's doing better than me

  • Morning all, and hugs to those who are succumbing to horrible bugs...

A quiet day planned here today. Just the usual quick sweep round the house after my shower and then a lamb stew to go in the SC for dinner tonight. Taking a friend's dogs for a long walk through the woods later and writing letters to the two children away at university.

    Have a good one, everyone!

Welcome to Pink-winged and arkonite_babe as Board Guides on OS :T :j :T

Very old style here today ... DS needed a gift for one of his new friends (new school, new friends) ... quick dip into the gift box produced something appropriate for a 12yo girl - no mean feat ... we have no girlies of that age we need to buy for! ... then, he tries to do me up like a kipper and say he could *really* do with 2 as two of the girls share the b/day .... another lucky dip and - VOILA! He's off happy as Larry :D

Moral: Keep a gift stash of items for *all* ages/stages/genders!!! ;)

((healing and comforting hugs to those who are below par :( - hope you all feel better soon!))

Need to run ... but, have a great day everyone :):):)
