Did loads of Christmas shopping yesterday and managed to finish my sisters and uncles gifts!

    Oooo what u got me?! What u got me?!! :D :j :j

(shh dont really tell me.. spoils the surprise :p )

Gosh cant believe only just getting on here! Was up at 5am, finished off sorting the dining room out which i started yesterday (went to my mums on way home from docs which i hadnt planned to and so ended up staying a bit late and having my tea there then coming home and going straight to bed! ) Then i tackled the kitchen - got everything spick and span... then decided to bake! :rotfl: At 7am this morning i was making apple pie!! :D In the end i managed:

    1 apple pie
    1 apple crumble
    1 plum crumble
    15 normal size jam tarts
1 extra-large jam tart (plate size)
    30+ scones

Got rid of some apples and plums i had (50p for a large bag of each in the local greengrocer as they are "less than perfect"!) The apples where packaged up for Morrisons aswell so real bargain i think. :j

Then ive gone through my clothes and sorted my wardrobe and drawers out into keeps/ebay/charity shop. Been meaning to do it for ages!! Then i went through a box id destined for charity shop/ebay probably about a year ago... found stuff in there id forgotten i had... and now i look at it again and try it on.. realised will do for running the shops etc this winter so i dont have to go out and buy more jumpers and stuff so moneysaving :j (Also found 50p in pocket of my big winter coat.. so was profitable exercise too ;) :rotfl: )

Just takin a breather now before i go and tackle somemore... Theres drawers and boxes i just havent bothered sorting properly since i moved in :o So wanna get everything sorted and anything i dont want/need onto ebay as just worked out im gonna be at least £300 maybe as much as £500 short in my wages this coming month!

Tonight will be spent meal planning aswell i think so i can save as much money as possible of this months money to roll over, and must find my clubcard vouchers i have.. add them to my ones that will be due and i might be able to do a recordly cheap shop next month!

Picked up lots of crumpets at sainsbury's last night. they'd all been discounted to 10p a pack. OH loves them, so I bought quite a few and have stuck them in the freezer. WOuld love to try some...but Oh started throwing up this morning. So far we've had 4 eruptions and he's not feeling any better. Looks like it'll be a meal for 1 tonight....with Oh looking on enviously.

Poor soul. Takes a lot to stop him in his tracks...but it has done this time.

Back from the docs and I got the all clear. He asked if I want to come off the pill as I've been getting pressure like pains in my legs which he thinks is just soft tissue (well at 16 stones there is plenty of tissue and fat to cause such problems) so I said I'll carry on and get it checked next time I need a new pescription as we can't afford another child ATM. He also checked my bloodpressure and that was fine so I'm not as worried now, but I'm going to start keeping track of when I get these pains and how long they last so I can give him more info next time.

Too much sitting in front of the 'puter! :p;)

Only joking hun, but it is something to be aware of and you can get DVT's by sitting here too long just the same as being in a plane etc. I was rushed into hospital about 18mths ago with a suspected thrombosis/PA and it wasn't pleasant!

Luckily it was a false alarm but it did make me think about how long I spent sat at the computer every day, and now I make sure I get up and have a walk around or do something every half hour or so just to get my circulation moving again. I seem to be prone to cramps and muscle spasms again recently (no idea why yet, not had it checked out :o ) so I do pay particular attention to sitting in one place too long.

Hope you get to the bottom of your problems soon though :)

    Hello!

Been to work as normal, at lunch I went to Tescos to look at the PJ bottoms as I'm gonna get OH some for Xmas. They were £5 for the pair of PJ bottoms, and when I paid they'd been reduced to £2.50!! Bargain!

When I got home I switched the slow cooker off and it was lovely. This morning bunged in 1 tin of tomatoes, 1 tin of mixed beans and 4 Quorn sausgaes and both OH and I found it lovely! All free on a SW green day too! I'm being really good at keeping to my diet and want to lose what I gained on holiday asap.

I've made 2 'diet' cakes for my slimming class tomorrow, too, felt like I was on ready Steady Cook I was rushing around so fast to make them. I have to leave to go babysitting soon, so it's been a very busy day!
Yesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams :)
  • jw1096 - it's not only your bank customers do that, it's mine too. Had a customer come in on Friday at 4.27pm (we close at 4.30) and wanted to take out £7000, then take out another £3000 to pay into his employees accounts. I was fuming!
Anyway, back to old style! Made a gorgeous chickpea stew for tea which I had with mixed herb dumplings. (my new thing, have only just learned how to make them!)
