Can't get on nhs dentist  so just have to put up with it and hope mouthwash will eventually do the trick, otherwise I think a pair of pliers will be found and used
Have to go and post some ebay parcels
think the rest of the day will be spent in front of telly in pain, while trying to look after the kidswhich isn't the easiest job at the best of times, but when I havent slept and feel like c**p gonna be tough today.

I'm a proper night-owl! Left to my own devices my body clock would send me to sleep at 3am and I'd wake at about 10am. I discovered this was the case when I was a student, and always got my best work done in the small hours. The problem is, now I'm working full time and have to get up at 7am, my body still doesn't want to go to sleep until 3am, and I have real trouble getting up in the mornings. So what tends to happen is that I average 4-5 hours sleep a night during the week, then catch up on sleep on Saturday morning so waste half of the only day which is "mine" to get anything done
Must fix this, but not sure how! Best plan I can think of is going back to an old routine - English National Opera sell seats in the gods for £5 at 10am each day for the same evening's show, so the best incentive I can think of for getting up on Saturdays is making sure I'm in the ticket queue by opening time. Then I'd have the rest of the day to get all the housework done, and a cheap Saturday night out to look forward to at the end of it! (All the travel in and out of central London doesn't count as costing anything cos I have to have an annual season ticket anyway for work.)
Freyaluck - not sure how this works exactly, but is your nearest NHS dentist not obliged to treat you in case of emergency? (I could be wrong - I'm still with my dentist from 2 addresses ago, as I can't get onto the books of one any nearer!)

hello all,
Decided to have a lie in this morning as its half term ,so the postman knocks and I have to answer it in my dressing gown.
Yesterday was spent raking leaves and filling some old plastic linen baskets with them for leaf mould.I use them for compost too and thought I'd just empty the remaining compost into one of the other containers so I could put the leaves in but I managed to pour evil smelling guck all down my front.
FIL is recovering from his fall so OH is a bit happier.
DD has been coming out with some 'interesting' comments of late'Your hair looks nice mum....have you had a shower?' and the Latest one is 'I do look like you mum .........I hate my face ,its so round!'
Looks like the wind has abated here. Our full water butt was blown right over and I think the tap might be broken
The French beans are nearly over, they look like they're made of lace where the slugs have been partying.I did manage to pick a handful (of beans) yesterday but they are all becoming a bit lopsided now.

Has anyone else tried it?
I usually buy Gold Blend, for instant, and thought I'd give this a go.
I've just rung them to ask where is the nearest land fill site I can dump this in without poisoning it.

Aaaw bless. Just popped over here to see how you were all doing today, didnt expect so many messages - that is so kind thank you!!!
I popped into my bank an hour ago & settled my loan, so its official (although I'll feel better once Ive received the letter confirming it....).
I'll still be on my usual budget this month, so I dont think it will sink in until next month when the money will be mine, mine, mine. Well actually, i'll be saving the same amount (or a huge chunk at least) for my travels.
Yippeeeeeeeeee!!
Thanks again xx0 -
Well done MS London!!!!
Squeaky yes and it's horrible.
Morning all, just?? I've woken up with a sore throat and a stinking headache so obviously have a cold coming on, I don't want to do anything and have only just got dressed.
DH has been for his interview, I packed him off to bed earlier so he could at least have an hours sleep beforehand. They're going to let him know later in the day so fingers crossed for us. It's only a relief managers post but it means that any overtime he gets with it will mean more money and he can sleep at work.
I must try and get some washing done, the place is resembling the local tip because of the kids being home, every time I tidy they trash the place again so I've almost given up this weekOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Aww, I like Kenco Rapport - but then I'm not a huge coffee drinker. Used to drink Gold Blend but went right off it.
Give it to some needy charity - maybe they aren't as choosy0 -
Whoops!!! Got loads of veggies, especially carrots it seems so off to make some soups and some ratatouille... got to start using them up and will be getting a much smaller organic box next week!
Anyway, supposed to be doing some decorating... does anyone else get really demotivated with decorating? My OH just seems to make jobs bigger and bigger, drives me nuts! Don't seem to be getting anywhere.... help!
Oh well, Squeaks, what about making all sorts of chocolate goodies with a coffee twist.... mousse, brownies, cookies...
just got another (third so far) date for my op and hopefully when I turn up to this one they will be happy to cut me up and do the biz... not that I really want them to but I really want to get it dealt with then I can have peanut butter on toast, brownies... the list is endless! (hey maybe my avatar could be a picture of my gallstones... or would that be too disgusting?!!)oooh look only about 220 posts and I got round to doing my Avatar already!!0 -
They called back and are sending me a freepost label and some vouchers to replace the coffee with.
I'm one off those odd people who like coffee but don't like coffe flavoured things.
Same with cheese.

I'm with you on that one squeaky!! I love a good cup of real coffee, but cant stand coffee flavour.
Also hate banana flavour, or chocolate flavoured anything, I need REAL chocolate!!! None of this pretend lark!!I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle0
