    Morning All

Sooooo tired - went to a murder mystery dinner last night, all free which was great. Was told it would finish at 10.30pm, but it finished at about 12.15am!! So after being up at 4am yesterday, I got to bed at 1am this morning, only to be up again at 4am

Got a long day tomorrow too - off out reporting all day (9am-7pm) and it's meant to be my day off. Will have to give up spare time on Sunday to come into work and get some of my Halloween project done ready for Monday, when I shall be doing a double shift

Hope you're all a bit better slept and rested than me

I woke up at 5.54am - I think the cat thought I was going to oversleep and found it necessary to pad over me and start meowing. I checked the alarm just incase she was right and I forgot to set the alarm! Bless her!

Anyhoo - Its FRIDAY!!! Work was alright yesterday and today I have a development meeting with one of the trainers from H/O so I should get off the tills for an hour or so - cool! My sofa is confirmed for delivery next wednesday too. I think that I might treat myself to a plant of some description today, although I do need to finish the table and get some oil or something for it first - so ill have a look at the finances and see how they go.

Im off for the whole weekend so I think ill set boyf some jobs to do for today, so i can do all the laundry and proper cleaning tomorrow, then im going out to see old uni mates, and then sunday is my day of rest and a roast dinner, and maybe a bit of quilting too...

    See you all later!

    :hello: Goooooooood Morning :D

After a busy, stressful week - today is going to be a much quieter and calmer time (I hope ;) )

Boys have their pumpkins to carve; we've gathered chestnuts so I need to cook those (some roasted, some boiled). Will be making a sponge cake today (or rather youngest DS is going to ... he just doesn't know it yet ;):D

    BM - off :o
    WM - off :o
    SC - off :o
"Me" basket - out, primed and ready to use! :)

Take care today everyone :):):)

Not a good night again

Anyways, its wet here today but have put WM on for bedding so cleaner can re-make for me-will have to TD but Friday is bedding day ;) DD's bedding will be done over weekend but she has 2 bedding sets where as we have only 1.

MIL is taking DD swimming this morning, so will get her out for an hour :D If Im up to it, will try and get out later-maybe to a supermarket and get OH to push me in me 4 wheel drive wheelchair with alloys...lol. Im trying to push myself to do something once a week, just so I get out this bloomin house. I still have £140 left in my grocery budget and the last shop week is next week-so should have £100 to stick in conservatory gund as petrol was filled to brim at Thurrock on monday at 84.9per litre  so that should last about 10days as we are going to hastings next weekend for a firework display at sisters house-otherwise the pertrol would do 2 weeks at a squeeze.

Cleaner here for 4 hrs today and she will do house from top to bottom and is doing a few extra small jobs. Shes pretty good and feed her with whatever we're having for lunch and a few teas etc-know i dont have too, but ive been very happy so far with her and she only stops for about 15mins and doesnt include this time either

OH is doing more painting over the weekend.

Porridge for breakie. Sarnies toasted for lunch. Lamd stew and dumplings for dinner.

    Have a great day.

    Morning All,

Up with the birds today as I have a viewer for the house at 12.30 :j

Have been cleaning to try and impress :o

Once she has been I need to do some more biccies for kids as we are out. OH has decided he rather likes HM. Later I will be looking for a nice birthday cake recipie as Stepdaughter turns 10 on Sunday so we need to have that done. Will get the sprogs to help medecorate, they did it forher last year and she loved it.

Have decided to hire a carpet cleaner from the dry cleaners here, at £10 for the machine and £5 for the liquid its a damn site cheaper than having someone come in. It also means I can do the rooms twice and give the bad bits a thorough going over.

Right, must get on so I can do some more cleaning before DD 1&2 wake up. DS is trying his best to help.

    Catch you all later,
    Al.

  • Morning all,
Kwikchik, if you get your HM biccies done before your buyer comes it makes the kitchen smell lovely! Good Luck!

Today is my last real day of the holidays so we are going out ( me and 3 x DDs, OH has to work :( )

BM is on the timer, Curry is in the SC and housework is done (Well, alomost :p ) So I can have a guilt free day and come home to find my dinner ready and waiting. :T

    Morning all:hello:

Weather here is wet, so no line drying for washing today! Have about 2 loads to do aswell:eek: .

Not very OS day planned today. Have to take a job application in (closing date Monday) - was up until 11.30 last night filling it in!! If I get it, it will mean petrol costs go down, as its only 3 miles from home:) Will also be handy in regards to picking up kids from school/nursery etc.

Am thinking of going to Lidl/Tesco today to do weekly shop. Ususally do it on-line, but as only have DS1 with me today, may brave the shops!!

Don't know what to do for dinner tonight, suppose I should start thinking about it (now where is that menu plan..........) maybe I'll do sausages and mash (yum yum!)

Hope everyone has a good day!!

    Hiya

Hmmm - bit of a SC disaster overnight :o Don't know WHAT I was thinking, but decided to do a soup in it - so even though I went to bed really late and was up early, and had it on low,it's waaaay overcooked. This in itself wouldn't be a problem, it's just the whole house smells of........overcooked cabbage....bleurgh. windows open, smelly candles lit and DS1 walking round holding his nose :D

Anyway, have a mystery shopping job in Burnley later so I can leave DS's with Mr TM and have a couple of hours to myself. Want to pop into the £1 shops and pick up some bits for my charity Xmas boxes. Also Lidl's/Aldi's too. Thought I was doing really well on the grocery shopping front this month - but found another £60 receipt last night :( It's still nothing like I was spending pre-MSE so that's OK then :)

Had to take Mr TM's car in for it's MOT yesterday - knowing about a major problem. Anyway, man said 'leave it with me, it'll be sorted tomorrow, cost about £100' Better than the £700-1000 the main dealer wanted and it means we can keep the car until we want to sell it. :D Hadn't budgeted for the £100, but that's life.

Brekkie is porridge and cabbage fumes :D
Lunch will be sarnies and fewer fumes :D
Tea will be whatever I buy today and a clean smelling house. Want to leave the rest of the lamb until I have bade some more base sauce so can have a Lamb Bhuna and won't have time today.

OK, have a good one :)

    Morning all

Beautiful sunny day here in the south East so have a full line of bedding blowing on the line. HM croissants are in the oven and I'm having honey, butter and fresh coffee with them to remind me of holidays in Greece icon7.gif. Had a total blitz with the housework last night so can spend a guilt free day shopping for bargains, was just wondering if I can afford some new clothes this month ...

    when I woke up icon9.gif.

Still it's not all bad icon10.gif My campaign to become an OSer had a great boost this morning. I woke up at 5am, having been in bed since 10pm  ( ok, not sober and not alone but hey, its progress, right?) Made a batch of bread - honest! - before going to the gym - have the aches to prove that icon7.gif Got drowned on the way back as the rain is tipping it down. Waiting for bread to finish rising then will pop it in the oven. Burned off a few hundred calories in the gym, about to put them back, with interest icon10.gif

Re making bread. Does anybody know a way of keeping the flour under control when making bread by hand? There is a fine dusting of wholemeal over every surface in the place now icon11.gif

Have a lovely day everyone
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D
