    North Yorkshire Mental Health Charity workshop
    Workcrafts is a small charity based in North Yorkshire. It helps people with mental health problems by providing a workshop facility where people regain their skills and confidence. The aim is to try to integrate people back into employment where possible and offer support and training. Workcrafts are trying to buy a minibus so that the clients can go out into the community and do jobs such as fence or shed painting, garden tidying etc. It is therapy to engage in activity and also to mix with the community rather than be apart from it. People are unaware of the scale of mental health problems, but it is a fact that at least one in four people will have a mental health problem at some point in their lives.     d) As a member of the emergency services I have seen firsthand the vital service that Great North Air Ambulance provide. They have undoubtedly saved many lives over a number of years, operating purely on charitable donations. Each of the 3 helicopters costs £1.2m per year to operate.
