I'm sure Moneysupermarket search them in their hotel comparisons so I assume they are OK.If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0

I've got my accommodation voucher but when I ring the hotel they say they don't have a reference number from the company. When you ring the company they say everything is OK. They don't answer my e-mails. Has anyone used them and what are they like.0

I have just had an email from the Sheraton Dubai Hotel telling me that we are not booked into their 5* hotel but we are now in the 2* Queens Hotel!!!!!! I have had this confirmed by the Queens. The Sheraton also told me this happened to someone else recently.
www.tripadvisor rate the Queens 182/257 and a recent reviewer stated he had seen better dog kennels. I have tried contacting www.gtahotels.com and they are not replying.
Any ideas what I can do as they are based in the USA (I think). My credit card was debited in Turkey. I booked through a link with www.moneysupermarket.com This was supposed to be a surprise silver wedding holiday for my wife.0 -
Hi. I have been using www.gtahotels.com for the past 5 years to book my hotels. I have booked hotels in London, Liege, Antalya and Cyprus and there have never been any problems. I continue to use them because their rates are the best and from my part the customer service has been second to none. For my last booking in Cyprus I needed to make a change in dates and this was done quickly and efficiently.
I recommend gta to my colleagues and friends. Hope my comments help you guys....0 -

Do you work for them? If so perhaps you'd like to sort out Peter's problem booking?0 -
mystic_trev wrote: »Peter - Is that a confirmed booking? GTA do debit in Turkey (for some unknown reason) They tried to book me an alternative in Geneva, for my holiday next week. It wasn't a 'confirmed booking' and I just went into my account and cancelled it. Are you unable to do that?
I would complain, you certainly seem to have been 'messed about'
Thanks Trev, it was a confirmed booking. I can cancel, however, it will cost me £££££'s more to book another hotel as they are in very short supply now for October 1/2 term.
I am very unhappy at them changing me from a 5* to a 2* dump and not even letting me know. The Sheraton have also advised me that this is not an isolated occurrence. Unfortunately, GTA Hotels don't answer their e-mails and their Call Centre say they will look into it and get back to me and they don't.0 -
I have used them to book my hotels when staying in America, and touch wood not had a problem. Even have cancelled hotels very easy with them.0

Are they actually part of Travelport / Gullivers Travel (http://www.gta-travel.com/) one of the largest providers of hotels bookings in the world (and part of a group I used to work for ), or do they just 'co-incidentally' have very similar names?
I'm confused - is there any link?0 -
From their t&cs…….
“Upon submitting the booking form, you will be given a confirmation number, as well as a link to an electronic voucher. You will also receive an e-mail showing your booking information. Your booking with us will then be confirmed and we will not change your accommodation or the rate – we guarantee it.”
Don’t normally go through third parties ( book direct) but have a booking pending later in year in USA with gtahotels.
Hope they are reliable.

I may be wrong, but Happytraveller who became a poster today, appears (maybe?) an employee of GTA who trawls search engines to find negative comments. This thread apears on page 23 on Google. I haven't searched any other 'engines' but wouldn't be surprised if they're others. Coindcidence? Maybe, but I somehow doubt it!0
