Ahh, Serena, more books to dust....
  • Hi Serena

This week isnt really going! Lol! Havent quite managed to keep up with my lists and was really angry with myself this morning but then I did more than I would usually do throughout the week so thats a bonus.......right? (check me out trying to make myself feel better!)

When I leave work today I am going home to write a list and go to Asda, dont really need all that much, cleaned out my cupboards and fridge last night. Tell me how does the cutlery tray get so manky?! Its only clean stuff that goes in there!! Lol

Cant really do todays list as our spare room is at the moment a dumping ground! We have incredibly interesting things like gas barbeques, a whole patio set, a patio heater...............and well really all other sorts of weird and wonderful things in there. No where else to put them at the moment so going to use today to catch up on some other stuff that needs done. Like locating the rest of the Rice Krispies my darling husband spilt this morning (Yes a whole box!)

SSL thanks. The washer seems to be behaving itself again. To be honest I am relieved as landlady seems to have changed her mobile number again and I hate pestering her Mam to get things done. Amount of laundry I have to do if something happened to the one fitted I'd have to use mine while I got the other one fixed. Thanks for the reminder actually, I forgot all the uniforms are in there which I will now need to get in the drier so they have something to wear tomorrow. Best go do that now.

I promise you I will be a fab landlady :D

Morning everyone, hubby got back last night and the only thing the hospital done was take more bloods. He's still being sick this morning, so i'm to ring the GP's at some point and hopefully his bloods will be back.

List to do today as well as veg patch and sort the car out, me and kids are going to a BBQ tonight and i was suppose to go shopping tomorrow on a bus trip but think i should miss it but hubby wants me to go, i don't think i'd settle being away from him and with him looking after the kids.

    Big hugs to everyone.

Johanne i know the first M&T group i ever went to i hated it was to clingy but the second one was great, i would be quite shy and 2 of the mums were great. They would come over and chat as soon as i walked through the door and introduced me to everyone else. Even now i see them at other things the kids be at and the kids all know each other.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j

    Morning all

Johanna - I struggled with the whole baby/toddler group thing. I REALLY hated it but forced myself to go so the girls got interaction with other kids (although to be honest most of them were horrible little things, high on the biscuits they could help themselve too). I then found a structured group where it was craft, story, snack and songtime. That was fab as even if you didnt talk to the other mums you were "doing" something other than sitting there like a lemon. Also our local library did baby rhyme time and toddler rhyme time - that was good too. Hugs hun! Its not easy and I still struggle to "chat" to people but I am trying to make the effort;) .

    Right back to work

First load washed and pegged out
Second load in (where does it all come from?)
    Kitchen S & S

    To Do:-

Kids room - Did on Tue or Wed so just flick and hoover - its still tidy:j .
Put all kids cuddlies back on top bunk (they were the audience for their dance show this morning:rolleyes: )
    Hoover through
    Mop floors
    Dust lounge
    S & S bathroom
Mow front lawn (before it rains again)
    HHI

Weighed myself this morning and I have lost another 3lbs so need another 1lb by next friday and I have hit my target:j . Unfortunatley I then need to set the next target to get the next stone off but hey I am on the way;) .

I am gonna do a HHC then coffee then another HHC so 10 - 10.30 then 10.45 till 11.15 when I need to collect little un! Anyone join me?
  • I think I have something to prove to myself!

SSL I am sure you will, however don't be trodden on by terrible tenants, we're not all as nice. Landlordzone seems to be a good website, I'd say read up as much as possible first. Don't be scared of DSS tenants and pets, as long as you put appropriate things in place like higher bond for pets, guarantor for DSS etc they can be some of the best tenants.
    Shell well done!!!

    It's pouring down here :(

One heck of a morning, we were all go, went to walk DS2 to school with the dogs, when I got round the corner man covered in blood and find out a dog had attacked his (blood was off the dog) ran back with my 2 as it came over, DP went out to catch it while I got DS2 to school and warned other dog walkers. He caught him so then had to wait for dog warden and police. Beautiful white American Bull/Mastiff dog, scared stiff, seems great with people, my fearless son who petrifies me he's so fearless with dogs shouted him over to get him away from my dogs, but very dog aggresive. Anyway he's now in the hands of the dog warden, first thing DP said was 'You're not keeping him' :o he knows what I am like. DP now on his way over, an hour later than planned to get the caravan. My dogs miffed that they went out then had to come back. I was more scared of Megan getting into a fight TBH as she can be just as aggresive with other dogs.

PHEW!!!! Adrenalin's still on a high, sweating like mad so I'll definately need a shower before we go. Have got toiletries packed, undies packed, so that's the important stuff (have been away and forgot undies before :o ) Just got everything else to pack now, so best go.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning
Nice and sunny here at the moment so I've got 2 loads of washing on the line.
Managed to get the kids rooms done yesterday so apart from dailies and the ironing later I've finished for the week.
Got to order the kids swimming pool so I am going to do a bit of research this morning to get the best price.
Welcome and good luck to the newbies.
Hugs to anyone that needs one.
Time for a cuppa - anyone want one? I've made a pot
