I've been signed off by the physio....how cool is that. She can't believe how much movement I have now...probably about 90%. Looks like it might have gone badly to start with but having the operation on the tendon was the best thing I could have done. Yeah!!!

My son has the magic cream for all his ops. The best time was when he wiped his nose and we didn't notice. He ended up with a numb nose!!! Mind you, he has his appointment in a few weeks and i've a feeling he won't need anymore ops as although he needs the drops every two hours his eyes look a lot better. Fingers crossed.

    Back to studying xx

Not a lot of FLYing for me today as at work and leaving early (well, 4pm) to head off on a trip up north (Yes, there is life further north than Aberdeen :rotfl: ).

Had to take a little longer on my morning routine this am because there were things I had to prep for the trip. Went to unload the dishwasher and guess what?? Mr OneDay HAD ALREADY DONE IT!!!!!! Big claps for Mr OneDay!

Mr OneDay likes to be a very tidy fella but unfortunately lives with me - mrs untidy & disorganized, and consequently his stuff gets mixed in with the melee. He does his best - vacuuming around piles of stuff, clearing a little space on the hotspot that once was a dining table so that he can work etc but my mess really encroaches and gets him down. However, usually the dishwasher stays loaded until late at night if I don't empty it. So what a surprise this morning. Seems he felt bad leaving his breakfast dish on the ever so sparkly and clear worktops as I hadn't already emptied the DW so he decided to do it!!!! Maybe FLYfella in the making.

OK, back to work I guess!!

I can put weight on the inside of my foot so I can hobble. But now my left shoulder and arm are hurting. I don't even remember how I landed because I was trying to protect DS2 from banging his head off the other step! So thats my ankle sprained, my right wrist sore and my left shoulder and arm. But I can walk a bit.

DS1 was up for about 3 hours last night with a sore tummy and being sick, I think because he didn't eat much of his dinner. Then DS2 was up at 6am with a sore tummy, but he sneaks in besdie you and falls asleep with your hand on his tummy, whereas DS1 rolls around groaning all night.

Forgot to do a tesco order last night so no food till tomorrow

    Plan for today...

Keep the place as tidy as possible and get DS1 to carry washing for me. TESCO ORDER!!!

DH is not off till wednesday and is doing overtime so is out from 9.30am till 11.30pm!!!

Off to see what I can get done.

    :j :j :j Yipee Mudbath! :j :j :j

    Great news!

Johanne, I took DS1 to parent and toddlers as a neighbour used to DRAG me. I always felt it was a chore, DS1 loved it, I hated it. The parents up here are a bit.... soccer mom.... I remember one singing because her 4 yr old had signing lessons and the instructor (Named Enrico funnily enough) had asked her to join in, so she felt the need to sing to everyone to prove this.... Sometimes it was amusing to sit and listen to them gossiping, who was getting the biggest extension, whos child had more clubs and groups, whos hair was the brightest platenum blonde, whos fake tan was dark enough to match the wooden pannels....

With DS2 I went along once or twice. But it made me depressed. Not only could I see how different DS2 was to the rest of the toddlers (he wasn't walking for example) but the other parents used to stare at him and I got fed up with 'Oh look at that poor wee soul, he can't even walk yet' and the massive overreactions when he fell, which he did, several times.

I'm with you on that one, i know they probably think they are being nice, but it grates after a while.

On a brighter note, i just got my award through from the student loans agency and they are paying my fees for me:beer: Was slightly worried they wouldnt, yeah, one less thing to worry about.

Blimey tia, I get this picture of you shuffling along looking a bit like Quasimodo lol:rotfl:
Sorry, I hope you heal up soon, sprains are horrible.

    Excellent news GnB!

I'm not getting much done today, a few loads of laundry but that's about it, can't even be bothered to empty DW, will keep that for the boys to do after school.

The bed should be delivered within the next couple of hours :j and then I guess we'll have to take the old one apart and put the new one in, phew, sounds like hard work to me....*ponders a way to dodge that*

If supernoodles count as food they are what I ate for lunch lol.

Tiddles collected and fed and hopefully soon to be heading herself off up the stairs to her nest she is shattered.

I have filled out the application for the foundation for the sciences degree.. it can be done over 2 year so I'll see how I get on should I get accepted in the first place.. it is only 16 hours a week so fits in with DS2's carers allowance and DLA. So.. we shall see. I want to do the biology degree BUT the ar$£hole my SIL calls her husband is one of the technicians in the science dept and I loathe ever fibre of his benig with every fibre of mine... and every fibre of the living room carpet!!
