Done most of the bits off my list, dinner cooking, kids bickering.

Going to do one more half hour stint in the garden once I've peeled the pots.

Just picked a massive punnet of strawberries from the front garden and that's on top of the ones the kids ate. I've got a few mange tout to harvest too.

Kitchen has been S&S and another load of dishes done, pizza in the oven for tea and I've had to have a sit down for a bit. Also finally finished updating my laptop:rolleyes: Only been at it since about 11am  Going to go and watch the end of Phantom Menace with DD while we have the pizza then its time to make her bed and bath her. Then I'll assess how I'm feeling, it will either be bath & bed or just bed :rotfl::rotfl: But will wait until DD has been in bed for about an hour before I go up otherwise she won't go to sleep. Catch you later

    Hello all

I never did get to post this week and have only managed to skim through the posts really. :hello: to all newbies, hugs & chicken soup to anyone feeling unwell, or to anyone who needs or wants one.

DH has been away cadetting this weekend & just phoned to say he's had upset stomach all the time. I had three days last week where I was really not well, but oput it down to interview nerves.

We've picked up another foster puppy today, supposed to be a tri-colour collie, but she's only black and white, and having already got a collie and a coluki, I can't see much collie in her - looks much more JR than anything else.

Decorating has ground to a halt as I'm going to have to get a builder in! Brother came for coffee and had a look at where we found the damp skirting board. He's found the damp proof course showing inside which means they only put in the sub-floor. How did our surveyor not notice that the reason for the difference in levels was because the "lower" floor in the extension was below the damp course?

Now we have to get a builder to confirm what needs doing, then contact our mortgage providers to ask them what the surveyor was playing at and go from there!!! Anyway, got to go and do preparation for tomorrow, so may be back later. x

For once i have a bit of time. :j We had an early dinner as DH had to go in to work to fix the van before it goes out tomorrow. It was either now or get up ridiculously early tomorrow. ds1 is in bed, and ds2 is currently fed and asleep, so i am going to make the most of it and catch up here. :j

I have just got the WM on, not had chance before now i am afraid, and a bit scared as DH got so many boxes of clothes out of the loft that we look like cardboard city. All that now needs sorting into clothes i can wear, and next size clothes for DS2 that are suitable for summer/autumn. I guess i will spend some of tuesday dealing with it.

oh - spoke to soon - ds2 0-60 in a few seconds and now crying. No rest for the wicked. will see if i can bounce him and read. ;)
