    Morning everyone---Big yawns---
We're suppose to be going to Newcastle today and leaving in an hour, still have to get a shower, sort hair, clear car and get wee ones ready plus do a packed lunch. Not sure that can all be done in time.

Dusty he's doing well second day of no vomiting, thank god.

Right better go and stick another load in the washing machine.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Happy Sunday everyone - and Happy Father's day- hope it's a lovely one. :D It's been a fabulous weekend so far.
Not got as much done as I intended this weekend due to Friday being Mum's 60th and Lily's eventual arrival :grinheart but a good excuse I think. She is over 2 weeks late but totally adorable and well worth the wait. I will try to post a picture later. It's making me feel old though as she is my sister's grandaughter and Jen's younger than me :p

Anyway off to rouse the teen army - a major campaign  then visits to Dad and baby - not necessarily in that order as Dad and Mum are probably still camped at my sister's cooing over their 1st great grandaughter.

Catch you later, Kitty xx :happylove

    Morning everyone.

yesterday sort of disappeared on me, as we were at my parents till late, and then by the time we got in we watched a bit of Lost while i fed the baby then went to bed. So no time for a list update. We aren't planning on going out today. It's pretty cold here, i am sat with goosepimples. At least i can happily make a nice hot meal and not worry, but i won't get any washing on the line.

  • Still no further on the list, knew it wouldn't last.
Was up until late last night (only just got up:o ) watching movies trying to distract myself. It worked until I climbed into bed exhausted or so I thought only to find me bursting into tears :cry::cry: and not stopping. Not sure when I fell asleep.

 I must try to be happy today if only for DH but it is so hard.

Electra so sorry you are feeling down xx

Weekend list is usually on the first post - I haven't looked to check as I am always playing catch up and not looking for extra lists.

EDIT: just checked and there isn't one (thanks PP) you could look at the last couple of weeks threads and do one of those if you like.

    Morning all

One load of washing on the line, it's dry today but can't decide if it wants to be sunny or cloudy. Quite chilly too.

I woke up far too early again (ghost cat purring very loudly, I gave up after 10 minutes) and I feel tired again now!

    Roast dinner roasting.

I'm an orphan too, so is DH, but I suppose it's not surprising when you get to your 50s.

Hope you feel better soon Electra.

Hope you're having a good time caravanning lil-me. Though obviously you won't see this :D
  • Dustykitten, I had checked the first page thanks but as there is nothing there I thought it must be somewhere else.

My dad passed away a few weeks ago and today really has brought it home to me that I am never going to see him again:(
I know it is going to take time but it is still so hard.

pigpen - I feel like you are a sunbeam, brightening up our lives on the flylady thread. Its lovely to know it happens in the real world as well :D

(((electra))) - hugs for you honey xx

Kitty - Congratulations on the new arrival. So Lily is your great-neice?

bonsi - you are putting us to shame doing a weekend list ;)

Well I am having the strangest weekend. I'm in Liverpool and the Canadian girl who wants to rent my house sent her friend round to view (she's still in Canada) My uncle was showing her around and when he was there, my house phone went. It was the viewer who came round about 6 weeks ago, asking if she could come round with her husband. So my uncle explained who he was and that he was there doing viewing for someone else. They came round to view and it looks like they might put in an offer. So I have one potential buyer and 2 potential tennants. All this the day after I took it off the market. Very bizarre!!

Happy Fathers Day everyone. I hope you all have a good one xx
