Boys room finally done,
sorted all the toys (broken ones now gone)
sorted all clothes to make sure none are too small (some more stuff to ebay)
moved DD's clothes into her room
Changed units between DD's room and boys room (making better use of the space)
Hoover and dusted
So now gonna sit outside for awhile because my nose is running with the dust, then i'll start DD's room.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

[STRIKE]vacumn living room and dust.
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Do some shopping
[/STRIKE]HHI
[STRIKE]Take GGD present to daughters plus bits and pieces for DD
[/STRIKE]Catch up a bit on my reading
Have a good day everyone.
Ive been to see mum and she was fine today. Kept asking if I would go back.
Went to daughters to drop stuff off and had a cuppa.
When I got along home the police had the next street down sealed off and were doing door to door enquiries. I heard someone had been attacked there last night. But earlier when I passed there was nothing.
I live near a lot of pubs and clubs and had only yesterday been talking to someone who said they didnt go out now as people were fighting all the time.
Tia Glad the ankle is a wee bit better.
RS Glad you managed to get sorted with the cleaner. you will save a fortune.
Kaz Hi!

She agreed - think she was fed up coming anyway:j0

Hurrah!!!
I've finally achieved somethings in their entirety:- Print off photos
- Invoice
- Put stuff on ebay Have put a couple of things up - need to do some more tomorrow
- [STRIKE]Tesco[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Paint picture rail and skirting board in living room[/STRIKE] DONE! All bar the skirting board behind the Biiiiiiiggg China Cabinet. No-one looks behind there and it would take hours to carefully get all the china out, move it, paint behind it, put it back and replace the china so I've cheated by not doing it at all
- Tidy front room Have started this
- Plant up remaining plants bought yesterday (most of them are done)
- Sort out large basket in kitchen
- [STRIKE]Wash throw from kitchen sofa[/STRIKE]
- General washing (about 3 loads methinks) 1 load done
- Clean garden furniture and wax
- [STRIKE]Buy wax for garden furniture![/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Order more trews from M&S online[/STRIKE]
- Sort out paper work in 'toy' box and shred anything > 7 years old before putting in recycle bin
- Find new home for 'toy' box
- Start on the iron mountain
- Take photos in park for presentation
- Prep presentation using photos taken
- Filing!
Also, when I went out to Tesco, I stopped off at the little material shop that also cuts foam to size, sells wadding etc. and had some foam cut and bought some material. I'm going to revamp the little settee in the kitchen. The cushions (filled with horse hair!) have been peed on one too many times by the cats and need binning. So, I'll cover the foam and cover the back (adding new wadding to the horse hair there) and we'll have a brand new-look antique settee. That's on the to do list too!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hello and hugs to all
Still full of snot (tmi??):rotfl: but definitely starting to feel semi human which is a start. Did a one handed stone massage on a new client today. She phoned for an appointment as her mum had recommended me. I explained I was taking people on but she pleaded with me and as she understood my hand problem I said ok. She loved it and is coming back from leeds every 6 weeks for an appointment. It's a real boost!
Sorted out our 'utility room' today. When we converted the garage into my clinic we left about 4 feet by the garage doors for washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. We've put the children's old storage racks up on the door and it's great for storage now and all sorted and very easy to see what i've bulk bought etc.
Going out tonight if I stay awake!!!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend xx0 -
Very quite boddy, everybody must be out enjoying the good weather  managed to put the washing out then in again just before the downpour!
Anyway not really done much today, apart from the food shopping which was a chore (took hubby and lo with me). Every time I go with him (hubby that is) I swear to myself it will never happen again.
Why do men make everything seem soooooo depressing. I mean I know shopping is not the most thrilling of pastimes but to drag themselves around the shop looking suicidal is a bit much.
Sorry rant over
Need urgently to tidy up the study but instead I think I need a drink and I don't mean a cup of tea. :rotfl:0 -
Electra - I'm just about to go and plant up the remaining flowers with a G&T in my hand ...
Cheers :beer:I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning all xxxx
I'm not bouncy today.. I spent the night half the night upchucking and the other half and most of the day with another migraine, I didn't get out of bed until 3pm.. I don't like them! As a result I am STILL in my pjs having just fallen asleep on the sofa.. for an hour and a half... again.. The drugs appear to have worn off now as I am awake.. and though my face feels a bit funny it doesn't hurt any more
LAst night while we were out we fell to chatting to a guy.. he looks like a total geek and comes to the pub with a huge satchel full of goodness knows what.. well.. he is 26 and lectures at MA level at the uni.. the satchel has students work in it.. turns out he has Aspergers (or something VERY similar).. I explained to him about our boys and said if any of them turn out like him I will be a very very proud mummy!! and it certainly wasn't the alcohol talking I would!!.. He was almost in tears, said it was the nicest thing anyone had ever said to him and he was very honoured we talked to him at all and kept thanking us for allowing him to talk to us.. bless .. most people think he is too strange to talk to.. by our standards he is probably quite normal.. I have an Autistic family tree I decided.. I was trying to think of someone NOT eccentric or strange or with their own little quirks.. and we don't have anyone!! lol.
Oh.. my point was.. he said if I ever want anything proof reading or help with anything WHEN I go to college/uni just to ask him and he would be more than happy to assist... I would have hugged him if he hadn't been so 'spectrummy' (that makes sense to us mums of them!)
I am extremely irritable today and just want everyone to shut up and go away and leave me alone.. the children are getting on my nerves just playing... why do I only ever get these headaches on a weekend or school holiday... ???
I've chucked a bag of recycling out.. loaded the DW twice.. chucked a bag of rubbish and slept today..
Off to slop out dinner.. back later xxxxxxxxxxLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Evening all!
Pleased to hear everyone is feeling better today.
The sun has been shining here all day but there is a chill in the wind, not complaining though.
Decided to ditch the rest of the list after a busy first week flying. Will make a new attempt from Monday. Can't suddenly have a clean house all the way through in the first week! Where would the challenge be in that?
Not done much today but some flying has/will be done here, just not thanx to me. I see it as me being good at delegating (I might just be lazy though):o
I did serve them dinner, heated up leftovers so I didn't have to cook
Kitchen is clean and tidy after dinner.
Put our new bed together so now the bedroom is looking better. Still needs decorating though.
Sold the old bed to the second hand shop around the corner, only got £10 but that's better than freecyclingwhich is what DH wanted to do, I kept the money and it's going in the savings account.:j
The boys cleaned the bathroom and tidied (not cleaned) their rooms and hoovered upstairs (their Saturday chores).:T
DH will tend to our veg plants in a bit.
I'm now tired after a day of doing very little so might lie on the sofa to recover
Hope everyone is having a nice evening!

soappie,
I did calm down a bit then went downstairs for tea, only to have a 'heated' discussion with DH about me not understanding him.
He said (earlier) which started it off
what do I fancy?
which later I discovered what he was trying to say was
where is it?
I was told I should have know that was what he was trying to say.
