Ohh yes - we have this "problem" too and its so so wearing isn't it?

Everyone assures me its a phase and it will pass, but at the moment its getting more and more frequent. I am working on the premise its frustration etc and am trying to rephrase "no" to why it is/can't etc. But its so maddening and eventually I find myself snapping no and getting quite cross. We too are trying behaviour charts, and pushing him "to pretend to be a grown-up" which works some of the time.

Any ideas very welcome here too!

My Mum used to say 'I'll give you something to cry for' - worked a treat but not the done thing these days I gather:confused: :rotfl:

    Afternoon all

    :hello: Frankie

Shell well done on your weight loss.
Tia hope you are less sore soon - have you taken any arnica? Ibufen gel is quite good too.

Been out and about all day so not much flying done. Feel really tired this afternoon for no real reason.

Going to put one wash out and get one in and then I have a cake to make for Mum's birthday tomorrow and the presents to wrap, plus the fathers' day bits.

Out tonight at some physic show thing like you see on tv. Never been to anything like that before so have no idea what to expect.

I don't do whining kids - even my friends kids tell them not to whine at my house. I simply say the nosie hurts my ears (I do acutally have quite an acute hearing sense and don't like alot of noise), I can't bear it and never ever would give a child what they wanted if they whined.

Crying I find slightly different (being a softy) and DS3 is prone to getting upset easily (he is 6) mainly through frustration, things not being fair, his brothers winding him up. I think it is good to show your emotions so don't have a huge problem with this.

Finished my list apart from clearing out a cupboard which I will do when I go up for a shower in a while.

Going to surf about for a bit then think about dinner; might be naughty and have take away tonight :D

Got a bit more tidying up done. I did DH's bedside table drawer. 23 pens of which only 3 worked! Umpteen bits of paper with rubbish on. Two stanley knives (?) - they've gone in the tool box. Two watches that don't work.

Also went through a kitchen cupboard, not much to chuck, but a bit, and the rest is tidy now.
