    Morning all!
I hope everyone is feeling better today, runny noses, twisted ankles and everything else you lot get up to to avoid housework;)
Right, this is the plan I have......:rotfl:

    Kitchen
    Sweep and mop the floor

    Downstairs Bathroom
    Twinkle the tiles
    Bedroom
    Clean the windows
    Do freezer inventory
    Hallway
Wash any curtains that need freshening up (Lounge)
Clean any glass.. pictures, windows, mirrors etc (Hallway)
    Vacuum (Hallway)
Sort through the shoes and coats and bags and clean shoe- and coatrack
Spend 5 minutes tackling the hotspot in your bag..Time to change to another one anyway, might even go and buy a new one I saw a awhile ago, I deserve it!
    Funky Friday!!.. Gamesroom
    Level Two
    Clean the windows
    Polish the monitors/tv's etc
Wipe the grotty patches of the walls and woodwork
    Level Three
    Vacuum the floors
Clean any beanbags or other soft furnishings.. cushions, curtains for example
Sort through bookcase to make it all neat and tidy
    Extras
    Find something to freecycle
    Find something to carboot
    Now get rid!

    Laundry day
    Update menu list
    Finish the darned course!
Get Travel Kettle from Lidl (I think they had Heinz beans on offer too...? or was that last week?)

Got my new bed coming today :j and the sun is shining so I might just use that as an excuse to not achieve much off the list today.
As long as I get the laundry and studying done I don't mind. The boys can clean their own rooms and the gamesroom, they make them messy, not me!!!

Ok, I am studying now, honest.....:o

Morning ladies, nice to see you joined us Elektra King:D
Any word from Pink Fairy? How was the interview?
Johanne, hope you are ok. I know what you mean about the mother and toddler type groups, even the mother and baby groups from when i had LO were very cliquey. Even though we'd all joined at the same time, i felt really left out as everytime they met up LO seemed to have a hospital appt. Wish i'd kept in contact with them though. If you ever want to talk just give me a shout.
Hope everyone else is good, hows the ankle Tia?

Johanne, I think most feel a bit unsure about mother & toddler type groups, since we always assume everyone else knows what they are doing and thathey are really confident , early motherhood is fab for making you feel insecure. (others might disagree)
Heck, I feel like the odd one out even talking to people on line, how sad is that.

(((hugs))) Johanne. Remember that we are here if you need us.

Hllo Electra King welcome to flying. remember to try and do one step at a time.

Well DD has playschool this morning so I am taking DS to McD for breakfast just me and him. Think he will enjoy it. Then we can come home and play with his toys. After that it is time to swap children and pick up DD from playschool and take DS to playschool.

Anyway will try and do some of the list today but can't be bothered right now. Handy thing with DS and DD not playing in their rooms there isn't much to tidy up :D. Dread to think what it will be like when they are older

Helo Germish_se Agree with you about Motherhood.

Electra King, you've already done more than me!

I am here under the pretence that I'm doing my course...

:hello:Hi confused newbie - how's it going this week??;) (You can't sneak in here unnoticed)

:hello:Hi and welcome to Electra King

lil_me - have a good trip. Don't do so much today that you're too tired to enjoy it!

pigpen - I'm eagerly awaiting details of the courses that you're considering!

taurus - just ordered three books from Playtrade...:D for about the same as one new one from Waterstones.

johanne - some mother and baby groups are more cliquey than others. Just go along, smile and say 'hi'. If you don't like it, try another one. I didn't like a few of the groups, but was very happy with the NCT group, and ended up working as a volunteer for them for about 12 years! I still do the Nearly New Sale, helped by my youngest NCT baby (who's going to be 14 on Monday). Your health visitor should have a list of local groups.

I have to go do the weekly shopping this morning. I'm still sniffing and sneezing, and have a headache, so fairly inactive day planned here. The children can shovel out their own rooms.
