recovering_spendaholic wrote: »Mrs V - I have a verging on worrying obsession with John Cusack! I think he is just sooooo gorgeous and have liked him since he was in The Sure Thing about 20 years ago!! My favourite is Say Anything though. I am quite fickle though and also like Jason Isaacs, James Martin and Chris Meloni (the guy from Law& Order SVU) and I also think Dec of Ant and Dec is a bit fit - dear me I do need to get out more!
I was just looking around and noticed that the downstairs looks loads bigger since I've been doing the flylady this week.
I think there may be a very long queue for Mr Cusack, even my husband can see the attraction! One of my other faves is Rob Lowe (seem to have an eighties brat pack vibe going on)
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. Douglas Adams0 -
Think lots of us were teens around bratpack time, such a give away when Rob Lowe is mentioned....*glazing over with a dreamy smile*
Move over, Cusack is mine! unless I can have Keanu Reeves.....0 -

Evening all, finished for the day, I'm really tired. All kids in bed now so just need to set the washing/DW and get the coats in which are drip drying and then I'm done for the night. Not much to strike off my list but nearly there with sorting the family room so will finish it tomorrow.
Soappie glad it went ok with your DD and her BF. Planning in this country is a joke. I'm sure most of it is done 'unofficially' and often wonder if brown envelops are involved.
Tia hope you are able to walk in the morning.
Night all xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Lil_me - have a good weekend in the caravan - hope everything works as it should and that you have good weather, what is the forecast?
My list is decreasing at a very slow pace but at least I'm managing to get odd tasks done that don't need doing every week. I really hope that I make some progress before OH's return with the Freecycling - have permission for to get rid of some clutter in the garageDon't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli
Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board0 -

I dont know who you are talking about! I've just googled him and the only film I've seen with him in is Anastacia. Thats not much help :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
recovering_spendaholic wrote: »Nah - Rob Lowe doesn't do anything for me, nor Keanu Reeves. Even though he's knocking on a bit now, Richard Gere is still nice I think - I must have watched Amercian Gigolo 100 times. I have also watched the film "Perfect" with John Travolta (who is so not attractive except in that film for some reason) 101 times!
Ah, not wanting to be ageist :think:but me thinks you are just that tweensy bit older, Richard Gere and Travolta gives you away! Not that both of them aren't attractive...
I'd say that the average bratpack fan is born between 1970-78-ish.:rolleyes:0
