No, nothing to tell me. But they arrived, I've met him - at last -nice bloke! And Beth, the dog, took to him immediately (which is always a good sign!) and he took to the dog even though he mentioned him and dogs don't normally get on. He was obviously nervous. I think he probably has self confidence issues - he's a good looking bloke but, due to an assault, part of his face is now permanently disfigured and I think he's always concious of that. But, now the deed has been done for the first time, hopefully she'll bring him round more often.

So now I can relax and do bangers and mash for dinner..

taurus - you're a bad influence! I went into all the bookshops in town, on the pretext of buying DS2 a book for his birthday, and spent quite a bit of time looking. I decided to look again online, as they are much cheaper, and I could buy three or four instead of just one!

tiamai - I hope you're okay. Hugs to you and DS2.

    :hello:Yorkshire chick.

soappie - I quite agree about the so-called consultations. They always seem to be a sham round here too. I think it is pretty much driven by the developers. I'd be inclined to give CPRE a ring (now I've typed it, I'm doubtful about the name - the Campaign for the Protection of Rural England??) I'm also wondering about The Visit!!

Well, I have managed to declutter half of my filing cabinet while watching a couple of movies I wanted to catch up on, then sat on the sofa to watch the gooooorrrrrrrrgeous John Cusack in 'Say Anything' :A

Might have to watch BB now :o

Just waiting for tomorrow's list then I will be logging off; have a good evening all!

  • Mrs V - I have a verging on worrying obsession with John Cusack! I think he is just sooooo gorgeous and have liked him since he was in The Sure Thing about 20 years ago!! My favourite is Say Anything though. I am quite fickle though and also like Jason Isaacs, James Martin and Chris Meloni (the guy from Law& Order SVU) and I also think Dec of Ant and Dec is a bit fit - dear me I do need to get out more!

I was just looking around and noticed that the downstairs looks loads bigger since I've been doing the flylady this week.
