Hmmm - no children and Hubbles took care of the spare room last weekend so we had somewhere to store the bikes (we live in a top floor flat with no outside space :( and you don't leave bikes outside a locked door in Paisley!). Some adapting to do methinks as I don't want to not do something 'fly' tomorrow when I'm just getting started... He hasn't dusted though, and there's still a pile of clothes on the chair...

Funky Friday!!.. Childrens rooms or the spare room of doom
    [strike]Level One[/strike][strike]

    Polish the monitors/tv's etc

Quick question and possibly quite daft - Do we 'fly' on a Saturday and Sunday too?

Does the dining room turn up at some point or have I missed it?

Pigpen does put a weekend list up. Have a look at last weeks thread and you'll get an idea.

Dining rooms are done along with kitchens :)
  • :hello: Newbie Here
After a little persuasion I have decided to take the plunge.
:T Thanks to Penelope Penguin, Serena, mumofjusttwo, Cat4772 and gunsandbanjos.
Will start on Level One and see if I can complete all!
Have also changed extras to 2 of the worst items in urgent need of doing.
    Wish me Luck!

Dining room - usually the same day as the kitchen, but not everyone has one.

Weekends - there is sometimes a weekend list done for those who wish to do extra but a big part of Flylady was so you could have the weekends off.

Welcome to all the newbies, sure you will like it here :)
Mudbath my guess would have been no. I think Polly's had the best idea, try a few. To be honest you tend to get months on best before dates when it comes to chocolate etc.
Vanilla hope you get something sorted soon.
Hippy personally I'd register a new yahoo email for the Freecycle stuff, where it asks for name put a username you would like to use in if you like. Daily Digest reduces emails but means you don't get to see what is offered as soon as some.
    serena well done :D
bountiful it's amazing what you can fit in to do in a small space of time, more amazing how much 'stuff' accumulates.
((giant hugs)) for tia and for tia's little DS2
soappie it sounds like the visit went well, my dogs are usually good character judges too, they hate my Mother in Law :D My friend was left for dead after being mugged for his phone, he ended up with bad scars and plates to rebuild his face (aswell as many internal injuries) so he's like that a lot, it's sad really that these idiots have an effect on their lives forever but the attackers never think anything of it.
Sorry when it comes to men I'm more of a Vin Diesel, Jean Claude Van Damme etc girl :D Oh and Russell Watson, but thats partly to do with his voice aswell.
Hippy and boddy thanks, forecasts changing every day, so far cloudy but dry Friday night, ok Saturday until the evening (think the BBQ food will go under the grill) then ok Sunday, but this has changed daily!

Confession, I did some laundry, lost my temper with some laundry (DS had been nice and put his PJs in the machine, with his pull up inside!!!!ARGGHHH!!! So all the little bits have took 4 washes to get back out!!!) cleared up the kitchen and sitting room, did a good level 3 in the sitting room and hall (even sorted the gloves/hats box and removed all the winter stuff to drawers upstairs) then went back to bed :rotfl: sorry :o but I must have needed it as I woke thinking I'd had a nap after going up there about 12 ish and it was 2.30pm.

Did the hair cuts, they behaved brilliantly and the patient hairdressers even managed to do some with the clippers this time - those hairdressers are brilliant. Went and got most of the shopping off my list, just need some cereals that 3 of us will eat (Ds1s got waffles) then that's done so will get them from the Coop tomorrow.

I'm just working on a massive list for tomorrow which includes

DSs up ready & off to school (walk dogs at same time)
    Pick up caravan
Get caravan plugged in and the fridge started cooling
    Dogs to groomers 11.30am
    Pack clothes
Remove awning from boxes and pack into caravan
Figure how to use the gas appliances
Drag BBQ into house (told DP not to bother but he's paranoid)
Clean up dog mess from garden
Put a clean cover on our duvet & put that in
Put the list of stuff I have in inc foods, toiletries, leads, chains, toys etc etc
Find 2 old towels for the dogs which will double up as blankets
Make sandwiches for DSs when they get home
Put DSs uniforms straight in on a quick wash so can hang out before we go
Walk dogs just before we go
Put location of the nearest off licence into sat nav :D
Leave by 4pm (well according to DP we are.....hmmmm...believe that when I see it)
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

    AAArrrggghhh!!!!!

It's just taken me an hour to get turbolister to play ball and list my 34 items on ebay:eek: . I've been at this thing on and off all blinking day. And then it charges me £22 for a 5p listing day:mad: ! Only because 2 items have reserves on them. Not letting my wedding dress and DH's mess dress go for silly money - they are worth too much for that! And then they will go and charge a fortune when stuff sells as well:mad:   . Goodness I hope it all goes!

Well got not much done today, and tomorrow have to go to the chemist to put a prescription in for DD2's magic cream for tuesday, and pay the phone bill, and then get some veggies and some chicken for next week (still got loads of mince in the freezer, just need chicken!)

Gotta go and get some sleep now! Nite nite all, see you tomorrow!:D
    LBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:
    Current debt levels: OD £3860, Loan 1 £6091, Loan 2 £5052, Parents £260, Total £16133  As at 01 May 2012 - 51.69% paid off :j
