Lol, ok, HEARTH! It's marble. The beetles are about 2 cm in length and the ones on the hearth are normally on their backs wriggling their little legs! I guess the ones that land right way up scurry away somewhere. I'm off to find a piccie. Luckily beetles don't totally freak me...unlike earwigs!!!

I loathe e*****s as well.. nasty things!!

they do sound more like the mealthings.. hideous.. like being upside down wiggling and harmless.

Of course.. they COULD be little cute baby cockroaches!! (bet that is !!!!!!'d out by the censor)

    ETA.. oooh.. it wasn't!!

    cockroach cockroach cockroach!!

Ah, you are one funny lady piggers. I might hate it if i lived somewhere like that, although i'm assuming she chose to live there? I however live 5-10 minutes from Edinburgh city centre, so cant really complain about being bored:D

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Just popped in quickly to say hello :hello: :D Hugs to all !!!!!!!

I've had a lack of motivation this week, spent Monday either out walking or playing Poker on Facebook trying to get my head around the different hands :o (I think I'm getting there slowly.) Tuesday I spent the day wandering around again doing nothing in particular and ended up going out for a walk. Then my friend whose house I cleaned on Saturday text me this morning and asked me to go around for a bit and call in the shop on the way for him  So I did as I needed to go and get some aloe vera aftersun anyway (somehow I missed putting suncream on the lower half of my left arm yesterday but remembered to put it everywhere else! Monday it was my legs that I forgot :rotfl: ).

So off I went up there to find him cleaning his oven in a fetching pair of yellow marigolds :D He's also cleaned all his window sils, tackled the mould growing in the shower and weeded his tubs in his garden. First words out of his mouth after "hiya" were "Stardrops are fantastic!" :rotfl::rotfl: I've converted him just from what he achieved in cleaning out his microwave and when I left he had is oven racks soaking in biological powder ;):rotfl: He was just absorbing all sorts of household tips from me and told me to keep passing them on :D He's delighted that the house is clean as he said it takes him less than 5 minutes of a night to wash his dishes, tidy up and get ready for bed - the advantages of living alone :rotfl: I've told him when he's sorted out a computer so he can access the internet I'll send him a link to here as he loves baking as well :rotfl:

I did manage to get a few jobs done though before I disappeared up there - I stripped my bed, did 2 loads of washing (bedding and clothing to make up the loads ;) ) and had them out on the line by 10am :D Also washed all the dishes from the past 2 days or so as we've only eaten breakfast here or had small evening meals so there's not been enough dishes to "justify" washing up :rotfl::rotfl:

Now I'm going to make up a batch of bolognese whether DD wants me to or not :p make my bed and then go for another cold bath to try to reduce the heat on my sunburn. It's alot better than it was, its just sore/hot to the touch now. I think I'll need to run the hoover through tomorrow downstairs and a quick flick with a duster (might even just use the feather one ;) ) then I can get on with my studying. I HAVE studied today though while stood at the bus stop waiting on the various buses and while on the bus :rotfl::rotfl: Might sit for 30 mins later and read some of my text book but I don't know if my brain will absorb it.:rotfl::rotfl:

    Catch you all later.
