Well I've parceled up an ebay item that sold (the only one!) and I've sorted out various other bits of post that have been pending and I've run out of motivation :o SO I'm going to go to the post office with this parcel and post a couple of letters too then I'm going to carry on for a walk. But first of all I'll put the washing on the line (one out there I did last night is basically dry :D ) and smother on the suncream. Think I might take my bag this time on my walk to carry my water and my camera incase the heron is back;)

    Speak later

    Hi folks,
    hugs mudbath and gandb
I managed to do nothing yesterday and today have started on our bedroom as it was left last week. We are still eating left over party food if anyone wants some chicken drumsticks, dips etc.

DS3 is still completely white after his Saturday night on the booze. He is now my house elf and he and Dh are still cleaning up. The kitchen floor is still sticky.

    Morning Girls!

Another hot sticky one here. We had a better night with DS1 so he is at nursery, and DS2 is being a bit clingy but i have just lulled him to sleep. It is far too hot to be holding a baby, which is what i spent most of last night doing so he would sleep.

I've made a start in the bathroom, which is good as i hadn't even twigged it was bathroom day, and good job i did as i have only partly done the bathroom floor once since having DS2 and as he is 5 weeks old today, that really is gross. Anyway, done now, and put away the bag of loo rolls that has been sat on the landing for 2 weeks, and emptied the bathroom bin. Also emptied an airer of socks, put out some glass and tin recycling, and have sat with DS2 for ages, so don't think i am doing too bad.

I want to spend 10 minutes in the garden doing the rockery in the lower garden as it is full of weeds. DH ran out of time to do it. I may not get a sleep, but i don't have to listen to Barney, or think about child food, or think how to entertain DS1 all day.

Best get my phone on charge next, and do the internet based stuff while eating some crumpets.

poohbear you have me dreading the teenage years - that is some hangoverr

gandb glad things are looking better today and the worst your DH got was a bruise.

bonsibabe hope things work out ok for you and your family today

Thank you again pigpen - OH is complaining about the state of the study so I had better get cracking.
    Always another chapter

  • Hello everyone - hope that you are all enjoying the sunshine - apparantly there are going to be arctic winds tomorrow:confused:

After yesterday's marathon in the kitchen - took me most of the day:eek: it was lovely to come down this morning and see it all sparkling in the morning sun! I had an appointment at the hospital (for a scan of my fibroids - was okay) early on so just finished the bathroom and done all the ironing and put away about half of it so far. WM is on but it is all towels and bathmats etc so that won't need ironing so ironing board is put away (not very often that that happens in this house!). Computer area is all nice and clean and I filled a big carrier bag with rubbish from around and behind it and it was just too rank when I turned the keyboard upside down - kids eating at the computer is now BANNED.

DD1 (17 and very stroppy) went out with the bf last night and didn't return until 7am this morning so I had a bad night up and down to see if she was in yet. She is a huge problem at the moment and as she is still fast asleep it looks like school won't be happening today. She has just done her AS levels and only started back after study leave yesterday. She put her sim card in my new Nokia N95 on Saturday night and skipped out and then lost the phone:mad: It is a contract and only just the first month and I didn't have insurance so that is about £250 down the swanee. Anyway here's my list so far:
