Hugs Bonsi - I expect the arguement was all down to stress and nerves. Hopefully once the meeting with the "legals" is over DH will have a much clearer picture of what is going to happen. I really hope its a happy outcome for you:D .

I am thinking of popping it Ely this morning once DD2 is at Nursery. Am not sure how busy the Waitrose carpark gets though. I guess I could try and if no parking then go to Tesco on the outskirts instead. Does parking between cars get easier?? I am so scared of hitting another car.

Right best get the littles dressed and the P20 slapped on. Lil_me did you get your sunscreen problem sorted??

Michelle - Hope you had a better night. The heat does not help at all. DD1 was up in the night so we set the fan up in their room, seemed to help and she settled right back down.

    morning all

didn't manage to get back on yesterday, got stuck into work and then popped over to friends to return hoilday cottage keys and stayed 3 hours nattering :) as we were walking last week and getting up at 7 to be out on the coast path nice and early i woke at 6.30 today and thought i may as well got up. feels lovely as i've showered, finished off the kitchen from last night, had breakfast and read the whole thread!

DH is up now too and in the shower which is nice (he usually used to be trying to drag himself up when i left. I still have some time before my train (thought about going in early but can't finish early today so why should i!?) and before i turn back into a pushing, shoving commuter!!

Hugs bonsibabe, i'm sure it was only because you are both stressed about his job. Hope you sort it out.

Spoke to hubby when he came in last night and he isnt sub contracted, he is agency(i dont know what the difference is:o ) so most likely they will just say they dont need him anymore. He phoned his agency and they are going to try and line something up for him. He reckons he'll be home by lunchtime so we'll see. He has a big bruise on his side from jumping out the way and hitting some scaffolding. Just so glad he was ok, he showed me the picture of the chute and the broken bit was really high, must have been at least 30-40 feet! Sorry to hear about your dad Michelle, that must have been awful.
And i cant remember who mentioned papers? He doesnt want to go down that route and be branded a trouble maker.
Thanks for all the advice everyone, its very much appreciated.

    A quick "fly by"

Have been trying to keep up, some days are better than others, really busy with my job atm, it is driving me insane.

Haven't forgotten about you all, thinking about you during the day and how you are all getting on.. :grouphug:

house looking not too bad apart from the huge ironing pile in the middle of the kitchen. When we have 2 days of sunshine here in Scotland I go crazy and wash, so I can hang stuff out, combined with the kids "tidying" their room and filling a basket each..

Better go, school run and work,

Shell & GnB - thanks for the support, i really do appreciate it. I think the argument was down to stress, DH doesn't realise he is not the only one affected by all this, he forgets it sometimes.

GnB - I'm glad your DH is okay, thank goodness he got out of the way in time. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the agency can get him something else where the H&S is better.

Goodness I'm soaking in sweat already and its not even 9.30! And all i did was take DD2 to school and walk home! Wonder just how hot its going to get here???!!!

Well, off to do todays list and try and get some of yesterday's done that i missed!

Hope you all have a good day.
