Unlocking a £20 Linksys PAP2 VoIP adapter

I may be able to get a few Dlink VTA-UV on the cheap. does anyone know if they can still be unlocked if they have been used on Vonage (or do vonage lock them down when they connect up the first time??? I see Sventhebrit has unlocked one, but he didnt say if it had been used on vonage before he unlocked it.

BE give a free router with unlocked sip adapter, works very well on the adsl2+ connection

Hi. Just bought one of these units unlocked on ebay.

I have connected it up and both ethernet lights are lit. When I attach the phone to get the ip address by dialling **** as per linksys own site instructions I get no response. Neither phone port is showing a light when the phone is plugged into it. I have used 2 new RJ11 adaptors for the phone port.

Please could someone who is using one of these suggest anything so I can get this up and runnning.
