I don't know what else to suggest then I'm afraid - might be worth emailing them but I don't believe they provide support for hardware devices.

If you are a regular user why not top up the account that works, and use up the credit of the "faulty" account on the PC. I think the minimum payment works out at about £4, it's a gamble, depends how desperate you are I guess ;)

    charlie12,
Just done that, sent an e-mail to voipbuster but no reply, hence signed up with sipdiscount and added credit onto the new sipdiscount account which now works fine.

It is possible that they could have to re-flash their current stock of pap2's so you can't unlock them, maybe Giles can fill us in? That is only a guess based on the following*. I could be completely wrong.

I am sure though that BBB won't want a load of orders being returned under the DSR so would let us know if anything has changed.

(*I received 2 vonage pap2's this morning which had their outer box and cellophane missing)

    Cheers, Des.

Have you tried to unlock them?

FWIW, the PAP2s I received last week from BBB all unlocked fine. They also came in "OEM" style boxes like DesG's

    DesG,

Can you tell us if were able to unlock them. Did you order them yesterday (just wondering if I would recieve the stock from the same batch if I were to order them today)

Yes, sorry, I forgot to mention that bit, they unlocked fine!

I actually ordered last week, but they were showing as out of stock yesterday, so I rang up and then emailed to cancel my order, the stock magically appeared, and they were despatched last night. Arrived this morning.

The only other thing I can see that is different in the non-sealed packs, is that there is only 1 rj11-BT adaptor.

    Cheers, Des.

I can confirm the adapters BBB ship can be unlocked, I did one this afternoon..

I've got one question thought.. With one phone connected (say Line1), can I use the provider on Line2 for outgoing calls? (pressing #1 or something before the number)..

I am fairly sure having 2 incoming providers on one phone is impossible, although I have seen somebody claim to have done this.. But Im not holding my breath.

You mean press #1 as you would with xlite, no that's not possible. You need either a 2 line phone (£30 corded, £250 cordless) or a 2 line switch (£30). With the 2 line switch you can then use any phone. I am still waiting for my switch to arrive but I am confident it will work. I have used a 2 line cordless system and that works fine (see my earlier posts).

Thats a shame.. What about forwarding incoming calls on Port1 to Port2? Allowing you to use 1 phone for two incoming providers? Some people say you can, but I tried yesterday, and it didnt work for me.
