I don't know what else to suggest then I'm afraid - might be worth emailing them but I don't believe they provide support for hardware devices.
If you are a regular user why not top up the account that works, and use up the credit of the "faulty" account on the PC. I think the minimum payment works out at about £4, it's a gamble, depends how desperate you are I guess0 -

Broadbandbuyer sells them (locked) for £26.68 delivered (back in stock on the 21st). The only other place in the UK that sells them for cheaper is Comet @ £19.99. However this is at stores only and most have sold out by now I imagine. Even if someone was to buy one at Comet and post it to you, the postage costs will still be around £3-4 so you'd only be saving a couple of quid. On top of all that, personal trading is not allowed on these forums.
The other option is to find one on eBay US. The power adapter is multivoltage so all you need is a cheap pin converter.0 -

That is an option, yes. Looks like a good all-in-one solution, and doesn't require any "hacking". Personally I'd prefer to use separate devices, in particular the Linksys WRT54GS (+ the highly featured Sveasoft firmware) coupled with two unlocked PAP2s. That gives more flexibility, more features, and easier to relocate the devices when needed. However it requires a lot of tinkering to get the most out of it.
I believe theres a Linksys router that has two VOIP ports built in. Have a read of this thread, there has been some mentions.
You'll have to check which ones support NTL cable though, I'm not sure if all of them do.0 -

My settings are currently set up exactly as the screenshots I posted in post #171. I'm using Sipdiscount with my Voipbuster account as it offers more free international destinations.
You mention you can connect successfully, do you get a dial tone? What happens when you try to dial out? What's your Internet setup?
Make sure you dial 0044 and remove the first zero for UK calls.0 -

I quite like the Linksys products but my AG241 has a VPN bug. As VPN is quite important the AG241 is being returned. Do you use the WRT54GS with VPN and is it bug free i.e. does it stay connected?
What features have Sveasoft provided that you use? Before you buy Google Nest or British Gas Hive check out ESPproMon the Android and iOS Smartphone app that helps you build the same system from just £30.0 -

I don't have a Linksys WRT router myself yet, though I have played around with one at work and I was very impressed with the features that the Sveasoft firmware adds. In particular, I like the extensive QoS options and the ability to increase the wireless signal to improve range. I don't know about the VPN features I'm afraid, I haven't needed to try that. It appears to be very stable, it's been on for a couple of weeks with no disconnections or crashes.
I've currently got a Speedtouch router but it doesn't support QoS which is a nightmare for VOIP as I regularly have uploads/downloads going on which I have to stop before I can make calls without break-up/lag.0 -

Thanks for that Charlie12. I've just copied your settings exactly again and this time i've got it to make the call and it rings the other side. However, when it's answered the call disconnects?
Any idea what this is about?0 -

Could be your Internet setup - have you forwarded/opened the correct ports if you have a router/firewall? If you have a router set the DMZ to the PAP2s IP address.0 -

I've set the dmz to the pap2's ip address. i have no ports blocked on my router at present. Not sure what I have to do with regards to port forwarding?0
