They will turn out lovely, nice fresh or steamed, grated or chopped. Nothing like the poppies or peonies that are in the previous post however. This is because they are CARROTS.0 -

My OH says they are of the carrot family as well so dont pull them up as they will be better grown then boiled. :rotfl: the carrot family includes giant hogweed etc.:eek:mortgage free as of 06/02/2008#

firstly can someone tell me whats going on here? its seem to be some odd web thing wrapped around this plant and its got loads of timy things in the web (prob tiny green/whitefly!) any explanations?

That is fern, florists use it in arrangements. (I think)

The middle one looks like a 'Choisya Ternata' (sundance) that I have in my garden, it has sweet scented flowers and even the foliage has a very strong scent.
If it is you can cut and shape it every year, cuttings are difficult but not impossible (for me anyway)0 -
thanks everyone, any ideas on the first photo? the brown lump thing on the leaf the OH thinks is the mites nest? there is a few more on the same plant, they might be helpful
there is no damage to the plant? its just a bit puzzling
