Would that be 3 plants to every circle in the growbag or one plant per circle (as i have seen a growbag with 3 circles that you cut out in aldi and there 2 for £1.80 dont know if that good maybe one of you's could tell me as ive never bought a growbag before)

    Hi mumzy,

I can't help with growing tomatoes in grow bags because I grow them in pots but I would imagine that Mrs Moneypenny meant three tomato plants per grow bag.

These threads from the greenfingered board might help you:

    Tomatoes in grow bags

Tomato plants in grow bags or ground?

complete novice - what do I do with tomato plants?

My advice - don't bother with growbags ;) The soil is too shallow and I ended up watering them constantly. Use that compost (or a bag of compost) and plant your tomatoes into the ground or, as Pink says, into pots.

Get yourself onto the Greenfingered board for more help :j :T

Very wet day here. I wasn't able to cycle into w*** so I'm a bit out of sorts. However, I'm about to knock off, so it's the weekend :j :j :j :j Excellent forecast for the rest of the week, and my chiminea should arrive tomorrow :T I'm planning lots of cycling, running and gardening :T

    See you all later.

    Good afternoon everyone :hello:

(((hugs))) to everyone with visits to the hospital and those who just need one.

stefejb - I'm sure that your daughter will be ultra-sensible.

Aussie, I'm glad that you and (not so) meanmarie had a good time!

I've had a "full on" afternoon in school. If children can't access the SATs reading test, then we have an option of them reading a brand new book and asking them to answer questions verbally, as opposed to writing the answer down which can be a barrier. (Personally, I think it's ridiculous that at 6/7 a reading test requires them to write!) Anyway, I've done four of them this afternoon and my brain is spinning.

Shez - have you found out whether your DS has got SATs? :)

Tomorrow, my class have got the maths test, but they're all really looking forward to it because they get biscuits and squash at the end. :D Bribery? No, of course not! :rotfl:

I'm still at school, but about to depart as we don't have a staff meeting, as we normally do on a Tuesday and I need to get to Mr T's. I'll finish my work at home, away from distractions of other teachers and their chat.

The deputy head has very kindly said that I can go to visit my grandma in respite care tomorrow afternoon. I thought that I'd better let the school know about the situation and was just going to tell her in a "matter of fact" way when I just broke down. My brother called me last night to say that grandma had been asking when I was coming to visit. She's still threatening to walk home (5 miles), but my (caring and sharing) brother has said that even if she gets there, he's got the keys so she can't get in! I don't think she's made a break for freedom yet. I need to see what tomorrow brings before I make a decision, and also see what frame of mind she's in.....

Meanwhile, my parents are still away for another 10 days. It's their 35th wedding anniversary, or it was yesterday, so they deserved to get away for a break.

Better go before Mr T fills up too much.

    Vicky x

Evening All (well it feels like evening as Ive been up so long)

    Hello Bubbs.

Many Thanks for the well wishes for OH, he has just got to have 1 op which should be day stay, we saw the consultant very quickly but spent ages at the day care ward having his pre op check though cant moan as normally they would make another appointment for that. Appointment should be though in a couple of weeks, OH is a bit bewildered at the moment especially as they mentioned that if the damage is worse than they think then he may have to have a catheter for a week or so.

Was at the hospital so long we had to have lunch on the way home so menu plan has been shelved and will be something from the freezer for tea. I will have a bowl of greek yoghurt, honey and granola which I have just discovered is one of my favourite things to eat at the moment.

Once again, thank you all. Hope your OH got on ok Bemuzed.

    Hi Essex Girl,
Sounds good news about your hubby only having 1 op when you thought it would be more, but as long as he feels well again this is the most important thing . I hope he is not bewildered for too long.
Best wishes and good luck for when that happens
