huigs to all who need or want them.

EG good luck to your oh at the hospital

its dark and grey here, its raining (quite hard)which will be a test for the boys on the playschool run, its the other side of where i live (20 mins each way) twice a day for now then 3 times a day in september as ds1 school is next to the playschool, i refuse to get the bus (3 quid a day) as the walk does them good

not much planned today, just general tidying up after the little ones

off to find wellys and puddle suits the best things we own for this wet weather, they can jump in puddles and the suits keep there clothes dry though think ds1 will lose interest in his come september or just after

Hi Y'all, grey and sodden here in the emids. The MATHLETTS are citing the Geneva Convention or some such to extract a lift to school from me, apparently it is against their human rights to walk in the rain. LOL

I'm posting bright and breezy because Mrs MATH is still in Switzerland so I can get on the PC early. She's back tomorrow tho so I shall say bye bye now - :rotfl:

We had a number of power cuts during the night so after getting up find battery alarm clocks so we didn't oversleep and listening to neighboring house alarms beeping and the fax and printer stopping and starting I had a dreadful nights sleep. I've got a thumping ed! and have had to resort to the TD as I still havn't got a replacement for my airer which got drunk and disorderly yesterday and disgraced itself by colapsing in full view of the neighbours! At least I've got a trip around Tesco to look forward to after work:rolleyes:

The day can only get better can't it?

    Hugs to all

Morning all :) Hugs to those that need them. best of luck for the appointment today essex-girl. It's raining here as well, I got soaked on the way to work. Still, I have to change in a second anyway as I'm going to be invigilating again this morning and I have to wear a suit  rather than my chemical splattered t-shirts :) so at least I'll be dry.

I want to go home early today :rotfl: well, here's hoping. have a good day everyone, cel x

    Morning all,

Aussie and meanmarie hope you had a lovely time.
Essex boy and Mr beemuzed good luck with the appointments today.
anniestar good to see you posting again. I too will be keeping an eye on Mastermind. I wonder what your specialist subject could possibly be???? Erm, Level 42 by any chance? ;):D
(((hugs))) to all those in need - the list seems to grow a little bit each week.

Rainy day here and I have to go out to two different appointments. Meeting with Head Teacher in my role as Finance Committee member. Need to discuss my abilities as a member of the committee so that I can fill in a form. I would gladly step down but the HT doesn't want me to as I am one of the very few governors who actually turns up at a meeting when they say they will.

After that I have the nurse for a B/P and weight check. If my weight has stayed the same it will be a miracle - after my trip to Scotland last week

DSis and her husband are visiting at the weekend. She has IBS but I reckon she should be able to eat lasagne ok? So need to get some stuff to get that underway. Will be making banana muffins too as I have four manky bananas that need using.

Off to have breakfast now. Have a tremendous Tuesday. xx

    Morning all,

Stayed at home yesterday as we had a new carpet fitted in the makeover bedroom. At last.

Must get down to the house and finish painting as the to let advert is in the local on thurs. I will only use my left hand as the right is still bandaged, and sore. There's a lot to be said for being amppidextrous (sp) New carpets to vacume, curtains to hang and kitchen floor to scrub. DH will help but he has to go to dentist later.

Hm burgers, jacket and salad tonight. DH has scrubbed the potatoes, It's annoying having to keep my arm/hand out of water, I'm having to bath with a plastic bag on my arm. At least it's getting better as the days go on.

Essex Girl and Beemuzed, hope all goes well for your DH's visit to the hosp.

Smokey, You have been so busy, I hope that sorting out your garden has been theraputic, IYSWIM.
