Thanks m00nie, sorry wasn't getting at you, calling you 'clever clogs', I'm glad it worked for you, just getting frustrated we can't open it our end. Hubby is looking in to it, as anything I suggest is not helpful.
We are also trying a thread in the techie section as you suggested.

I have been using the spreadsheet for some time, keeping it up to date as much as possible, but I find it annoying that once you have created a budget there is no way of comparing your actual spending with your budget. Can anyone suggest how to create links from records of actual spending to the spreadsheet.0

Please help! When I try to download the spreadsheet into XP it says the file is inavlid or corrupted.0

Just a quick note to let people know that the downloadable file is NOT working, I have emailed the webmaster to ensure a new copy is uploaded to the server.
So, you are not doing anything wrong & will no doubt be informed when the file has been replaced.
Appologies for any inconvience caused.

I'm sure I replied to this thread the other day but can't seem to find it now, unless it was the same topic but in a different forum
Anyway, I downloaded the spreadsheet ok the other day and the only adjustment I needed to make was in the security settings of Excel so the macros could be enabled."An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
