Someone sent me this by email today, so I thought I'd share it with you... not my personal experience, obviously! :D

I was buying a large bag of Eukanuba dog food at Pick 'n Pay and standing in a queue at the check-out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

On impulse, I told her no, I was starting the Eukanuba Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in hospital last time, but that I'd lost 22 kilos before I awoke in an intensive care unit with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.

I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that all you do is load your pockets with Eukanuba nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. And I told her that the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again. I have to mention here that by now, practically everyone in the queue was enthralled with my story, particularly a guy who was behind her.

Horrified, she asked if I'd ended up in hospital in that condition because I'd been poisoned. I told her no; it was because I'd been sitting in the street licking my balls and a car hit me.

I thought one guy was going to have a heart attack, he was laughing so hard as he staggered out the door.

... why else would I buy dog food?

Thanks ajax and brightonbelle. Day one's not been too hard except for not having any handy snacky things in to eat. I've adjusted my dinner from chicken (have loads) to quorn (just found a bag in the freezer)

I missed most of the talk explaining the plan last nigh because DS wouldn't co-operate and leave the house on time ajax but it all made sense from before (do you not remember that I tried SW for about 3 weeks 2 years ago).

I'm to have to go out and stock up on spaghetti and baked beans etc now so i've loads of stuff to snack on. And I might even buy some spuds to chip, parboil and freeze for future snack attacks SW style.

    Thanks bails,

Looks like I'm gonna miss it then - since I'll be in sunny Scotland after the 15th of July (don't even start me on how depressed I am by this  - at least it's only temporary! )

Perhaps we could have a LW Scotland meeting - anyone? LOL :rotfl:

Sounds very good to me depending on pennies:o
