    Procrastinator,

I know exactly what you mean about the "obese" tag. I checked my BMI when I first joined this thread and I was a mere 1 pound away from being obese. It was seriously depressing. However - the more weight I lose - and the closer I get to my target the more motivated I've become.

I agree with Lesley's advice about trying to keep track of your calorie intake - try it out for a week and see how you go.

Please post regularly - regardless if you think it's a "good" post or not - we are all here to help and support each other. :D

    Best wishes,

    Lisa

    kennyparkroad and efrieze,

Thanks for the tip - it seems that I'm missing out on some interesting tv - I'm off to search for it now!

    Re: calories.
I have no idea how many I eat in a day (I know I didn't have enough yesterday as I finished work at 6am, had breakfast about 8am, spent all morning shopping with my friend then went to bed at 2 and didn't wake up til 9am this morn!!)
I wonder if I'm eating too few or too many?
Oops just realised I have nothing planned for dinner tonight! Have to get something out the freezer!! Mackerel methinks.

Raph if you were regularly eating too few or too many calories I think you would have noticed by now because you would either be gaining or your weight loss would have stalled due to the dreaded 'panic mode'!

So did you buy anything nice at the shops?! :D

True! I do also 'treat' myself quite regularly too, so I suppose that balances it out. (Making rhubarb & strawberry crumble today )

I got some new gym kit, as it was very hot in the gym the other day, so I got some 3/4 length troos & sleeveless tops. They are all size 16, and are a little 'snug' but comfy, and will hopefully loosen soon!
I also got an armband for my mp3 so I don't have to hold it while I run, and don't have to keep picking it up off the floor between weights etc :D
Also got a big slab of choc from Thorntons for my step-dad for fathers day, making some HM shortbread for my dad.

Beat my time by 2 seconds - gosh it was hard! 28 mins 53 seconds for 5km on the treadmill. Just taking a bit of time off really shows in your fitness!

it has really taught me that many of my limitations are in my head and are not physical.

This is awesome! :T As is your latest 5k time! :T:T It's official Efrieze, you are well and truly addicted to running :D and are pretty damn good at it too :D Nice one!

And on another serious note, I woud like to say a big thankyou to everyone who posts their exercise 'buzz' on here - I can't tell you how happy it makes me, and how many happy memories it brings back. You are all a reminder that it will be me again one day - now THERE'S an amazing thought :j

Procrastinator, I'm sorry to hear the scales haven't shifted, YET - have you tried measuring yourself to see if there's any difference? Or a food diary to see if you can pick up on any patterns you're not aware of? As for posting, it's just as important to post and chat about your day etc (we renowned for going 'off topic' here :D) and feel part of the community spirit here. I hardly ever post anything to do with my WL these days and yet everyone is happy for me to remain part of the gang and join in.

Loving the new photos that are being put up, it's so nice to put faces to (user)names!
Great losses too, well done everyone! xx
