Ooh fit kit shopping Raph! :D The best kind in my opinion ;) Glad to hear you went for the 'snug' size too as you're right, those will loosen quickly the way you're going!

Another sports bra has turned up today :rotfl: I really should have kept better track of what I ordered  Well I'll give it a try but it will have to be AMAZING to be a keeper, seeing as I have two styles I'm happy with now!

Efrieze :j :j :j it's so inspiring reading a post like that, makes me want to jump on a treadmill right now :D I want a go!!! I shall be looking for access to a treadmill next week I think ;) Do you have a note of your best off-treadmill 5k time by the way?

What's happening with our little football challenge thing Ajax? I've completely lost track :o

Anyone got any exciting weekend plans?

im working 12-10 on saturday, follwed by 7:30 to whenever i decide to finish on sunday. Poooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo balls.

Im having a good chillaxing day today though.

My mum has cancelled her 40th wedding anniversary party because 6 of her closest friends have told her they are going to get there late because the vet is having a party. Shes pretty hurt about it, and in a way i am too because my god mother (for the first time in her life) is not behaving like she should be. There are also possible other people who cant attened, but i think her closest friends not showing up untill later has pushed it over the edge. Im finding out that as ive grown older adults dont really change from 20 year olds in some ways!

Has anyone got any ideas of some good days out? Im trying to think of stuff that i can do for them to make their day special. Mum said about going for a meal, but 5 of us going to the harvester doesnt really sound exciting enough! If anyone in london knows of anything good id love to know!

Well for me, OH is away to Brighton on a stag weekend so I'm home alone... except for the 3 cats, 3 kittens and 2 guinea pigs :D If any free pods come up at the Home, then I'll be busy trying to trap a feral mum and her 3 kittens and another stray female; bit of gardening as OH put my new greenhouse up his morning :T; a long walk hopefully if I can shake off the last of the flu; and of course, as every time OH goes away, lots of catching up on sleep! I'll also be working on my writing course that I've restarted, really enjoying it so far (that's until my work gets rejected :rotfl:). Vix, your weekend does sound poo, sorry hun! What you up to Missy? (oh, and btw, the holiday isn't counted in the 4k challenge as that's only for essentials...although travelling is pretty essential in my book, but don't tell them - FFM, look away now! :D)

This weekend is the brother-in-law's wedding but I'm pretty narked with them at the moment. MrsA's parents moved to live close to us, and now her brother and his wife to be have done the same. That's cool. They decided they'd have a barbecue tonight for just the family (6 of us in total), so they're inviting four family members and the instruction came bring your own beer. I couldn't believe it. Bring your own beer is something you say to 30 strangers, not four family members. Tight gits!! It's always us who has the parties and they are quite happy to come along and drink anything they can find in the fridge, staggering out down the road. Being veggie I was even taking my own Quorn tonight, being mindful not to take the pee!! "We're having a party, you're invited - we're just not providing anything for you!!!". What about the wedding tomorrow, do I bring my own poxy buffet as well?!?!

So I'm not going tonight! :D Just me and Bailey sharing the sofa and a bottle of a nice French red whilst watching the US Open with the house to ourselves. Bliss!!

Or am I missing something here??

Nah Ajax. Agree with you. If you provide for them when they come over you should get the same treatment in return. Mind you will it be awkward for Mrs A without you?

    beanie,

    What area are you in?

....I don't think so. I told her I didn't mind which story she used to explain my absence, the real one or the one about Bailey's legs being bad so I have to stay with him to comfort him.... which is true by the way

you sound like a git ajax :P ha. I do agree though, i would be narked, but i probably would have still gone and not taken anything.

Although erase that. My brother in law is the biggest !!!! ever, hate him with a passion. If i could id even try and get out of his wedding, let alone the BBQ!

If i had it my way, the only people from matts family i would invite to our wedding would be his nan, auntie and uncle and 2 cousins. The rest cant see further than matts !!!!!! brother.

    Hi Lovely Peeps

Sorry that I've had to skim through so many posts and no doubt missed something, the good folk will understand, but I've been busy this week combining two things I like i.e. tennis and making money from it :j Sometimes I do resort to common sense ;) ...

...Thanks for that great joke Lois :rotfl: brightened me up big time;) Is your avatar you? If so then :j and why do you need to lose any more weight? ....

It brings me to the matter of the great photos that have been posted here :j Thank you each and every one of you :A I think that many of you look perfectly okay and wonder why you're dieting  but you are all so nice and I agree with the suggestion of making a gallery with a brief description of diet etc, as I have toally lost track of some names due to the rate that this thread has gone. It's going to take some doing so who amongst our clever, decent peeps is going to volunteer to do it? They must also promise not to put a beard and black rimmed glasses on mine :rotfl: Having seen such great photos I must admit to being reluctant submitting one of me, like someone mentioned we are our own harshest critics, but with me I'm okay with my size (proud actually) but not with my looks :o...

...Re the calorie counting - Even though I've been maintaining for some months, I still count and write everything down. I did try, for a short while, not to, but found I lacked the confidence to continue, besides, I was counting them automatically in my head. I think the diary is like a comfort blanket to me, but if it works, then I don't really mind :D ...

Have a lovely weekend nice peeps :j I hope to keep up a bit more now as MrP resumes work on Monday after 2 months. He went to fill the car up with petrol today for the first time since April and   :rotfl: ...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
