Lois - thanks for the chart. Sorry I didn't post up a result but I was getting weighted in at SW... 1lb loss by the way.
I'm so totally unprepared for SW, really had to hoke through my cupboards to find suitable stuff to eat....
Breakfast was porrige (heB) and milk (heA)
teatime was a pear and a banana
lunch was golden savoury rice - not having that again, takes too long to eat and an activia fat free peach yoghurt
I'm making a pasta dish for dinner with chicken (heB) and a melted cheese topping (heA).. does this sound ok? I don't have much else in the house until payday tomorrow and can stock up on pasta n sauce and other snacky type things.
Oh and DS has chicken pox so I had to bring him out of creche early and I'll have to keep him home until at least Tuesday till the spots scab over....
at least I'll have time to prepare the proper sw type meals.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
I like the idea of a Facebook group - I sometimes forgets people's real names v their screen names!
Well, my holdiay started well foodwise but descended slowly and painfully into mayhem. I didn't like what the scale said this morning but I am definitely on day 1 today (back last night) and I am enjoying being back on the straight and narrow. I will definitely post my results in wed even if my damage limitation still reads a gain.
I only managed one 5km run while i was away and didn't beat my best time (of 28mins 55 sec). Did it in 31 mins something but I did manage to run the last bit at 13.1 km/h which, for those who use a treadmill, will understand that this is DAMN FAST. I only did it for a short while (felt like an eternity) to get me over the 5km line and I was dead by the end but glad of the achievement. I was glad that although I was slower than previously, I at least beat another record.
Glad you had a good holiday Efrieze, welcome back to the fold and the now traditional post holiday day 1 club
13.1km/h is 8.1mph in old money, which is faster than my average pace, so full of admiration for you, I still havent gone outside yet to run!
Today I managed
CrossTrainer 15mins Level 11 1.61miles 288cals
Cycle 15mins Level 13 5.39 miles 311cals
Treadmill 2.00miles Pace 7.1mph 16min52sec 366cals
Total 46mins52secs 966cals
Just tucked into a huge plate of salad and coffee, I am not holding out much hope for tomorrow. Actually I cant thought I cant weigh tomorrow as I have an early train to get, so should I......

Hi guys
Well, I'm back shamefaced to say that I've done my best but it's pretty woeful so can I please ask for email addresses again if you're interested in possibly meeting up with the gang?
I have the following emails, anyone who isn't on the list forgive me, you're somewhere is Paperwork Hell that was my desk and is now a heap on the floor:
Vix
Grannynise
Jules
Victory
Tagz
Efrieze
Brightonbelle
I now have a special place to immediately insert any addresses you send me (no comments please Ajax) so will be MUCH more organised and efficient this time!
Just off to empty my PM box so give me 10 minutes and then hit me with them
Don't worry if you're not sure whether you can commit or not - at this stage we're just trying to get some ideas going for dates and venues and then you can commit later on if you fancy it.
Can't wait to meet the rest of you! (newbies, BB and I have met already, right hippy she is) xx

ooooh sounds interesting!
I will be travelling around England from 9th until the 14th of next month - is it during that time frame?"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
Thanks LL and Raph, emails added to the list (love your address Raph!).
PLG, Efrieze and Lois, you haven't missed it, it hasn't been decided yet. Unfortunately it won't be next month PLG, but with my organisational skills you could well have moved back by the time we get round to itOnly joking girls and boys; I'm on the case! Once we get going though, any help with finding a suitable place to meet would be much appreciated, but we can sort all that once we have a list of likelies.

Thanks bails,
Looks like I'm gonna miss it then - since I'll be in sunny Scotland after the 15th of July (don't even start me on how depressed I am by this  - at least it's only temporary! )
Perhaps we could have a LW Scotland meeting - anyone? LOL :rotfl:"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
Ooh Vic, somewhere along the line I must've missed that you got the house!! Congratulations! At least you're an expert at packing (we are too - 5 house moves in a year) so hopefully won't be too painful. Oooh, another PM, who is it this time?
PLG, you're depressed about this fact?! I'd LOVE to live in Scotland! Some others on here are north of the border too so why not send me your addy anyway and see where it ends up?The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
