I'm making a pasta dish for dinner with chicken (heB) and a melted cheese topping (heA).. does this sound ok? I don't have much else in the house until payday tomorrow and can stock up on pasta n sauce and other snacky type things.

.....delly firstly congrats on the 1lb loss. Presuming you're on green day then this sounds fine... oh you must be - you already mentioned the savoury rice :o Yep, as long as you have the right weights for your chicken and cheese then it sounds great x

Did it sound like mumbo jumbo when you first sat down and had it explained, or did being on here mean you knew exactly what was coming?

    Bails,

I can't really comment about what it's like living there as despite being Scottish I've never lived there as an "adult". I got out as soon as I graduated uni - I didn't even attend my graduation ceremony - I was so desperate to leave! I have the travel bug - one year Australia, 4 and a bit years in Japan - home is not "home" for me anymore - if that makes sense!

    I'll PM you my addy.

Welcome back Efrieze, did you have a great time? (Aside from the mayhem food - which sounds like fun if you ask me!) Can I just say WOW at your personal best of 28:55!!! I did 34:56 on Tuesday which was about 75% running 25% fast walking - this was my third run. I worked out that if I had run all the walkey bits it would have been about 31:30, so I know under 29:00 is fantastic! Respect!

I was just looking at your sig and wondering if your target of 112lbs is the total loss you want to achieve, or your target weight?

Great workout Suggs, and do I understand correctly that you normally wait for a certain... ahem... 'event' before you weigh? And would it really make that much difference? I would say "weigh and be damned" then take the double whammy next week :p Lucky you being that regular though - if I waited for that, sometimes my weigh in would be days late :rotfl:

Sorry about the photos by the way, I just don't like leaving them up on a public forum indefinitely - but I am very happy to share and only a PM away if any of you regulars would like to see anything you've missed :)

Happy moving for the 25th Victory!

phew, getting a bit behind and must rattle off a few catch-ups.
So vix - it was the purple writing wot dun it:rotfl: . That was a lovely follow up to the motherly remark and I graciously accept such a lovely comment:D Thanks ajax, efrieze and bails, pet, plg, & beaniefor your lovely comments, all aprreciated very much and to plg - hope I haven't missed anyone out but thanks to all.
Love the photo plg, so great to put a lovely face to a name - same goes for pcl - good job you put 2 photos up, as with the first one I was going to ask which one of the 3 you are:rotfl: . Some great action shots from ajax and missy. Missy I've decided we're the flip side of each other - your full of energy and go and very rarely have a day when everything feels an effort and your energy is down (as per yesterday) and I'm the complete opposite:rotfl: .
Some great trips being planned which I shall part take in vicariously and thoroughly enjoy.
I like the idea of some form of keeping track of who's who as since the massive influx of our lovely newbies recently I'm finding it hard to recall who is who and doing what method. Something brief as per raph described sounds good.
Bright-idea - love the avatar and great to meet you! Kpc, yes, definitely up for a swop box again:j .
Suggs well done on the exam:j . And Vic, I don't ever remember hearing you'd got the house either, but fab news that you have and good luck with the move. The worst stress is pre exchange I think, once you know it's yours, it's chaos, but the bottom line is , the house is yours and you are definitely moving. Good chnace for another clear out.
Raph - had to laugh at your height change! Great way to lose 1.5stones:rotfl:
Delly - well done on the weight loss of 1lb:j . Sounds like you're making a good start with menu idea. It will take a while to sort out - that's normal.
Finally Lois - thanks so much for your hard work on the chart foryou.gif
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

What about making another column on the weekly chart to include which eating plan people are using? Then we can look at it in the context of the great results people are getting?

I know the chart updaters are now cursing me, but I would be willing to collate the initial data as a one-off and then it would only need changing if someone swaps plans?

Just a thought, ignore if not desirable/practical :)

Thanks - my friend and I are competing to see who can do it fastest - it's a great motivator.

Target weight 112lbs - ha!!!! No, weight loss target is 112lbs although at this yo-yo rate I am unlikely to ever get there. Don't mind though - maintaining at this level woudl be ok for me too.

Well, more peeps signing up for the meet so that's great, up to 14 possibles so far.

I think it would be better to have the info at the start of the thread for any newbies and also not everyone is on the chart. Personally, I think it would be nice for everyone to have a space big enough to say a little bit more about themselves - only a line or something each, but so we can get a good impression of them as a person as well as their WL goals/plan etc.
I am pleased to say I have now seen Missy in her bikini - na na na na na Ajax! :p

It saved me efrieze! I was getting frustrated about why my time seemed SOOO much slower than average - and now I know it's because I did 7km :rotfl: So thank you for that tip, much appreciated!

I've also mapped out a nice little 5km circuit around the country (ish) lanes near my house, I might give that a try at some point when I feel more confident :)

Kept the exercise light today, 30 mins Step and 20 mins Jogging with the wii fit while watching a bit of telly :p Will see what the weather is like before deciding what to do tomorrow.

No worries about the chart thing, was just a thought and I can see why it would be nice to have more info too :)

My eating has added up to 1200 calories exactly today! What fun :D
