How was the golfing, Ajax?
....:( 'Nuff said. Tuesday was the annual challenge between our place and our 'sister' plant in Wales. We lost for the second consecutive year which is never nice. Worst thing about it was that it was 27 holes up hill and down dale. I didn't book a buggy like everyone else as I wanted to walk and had my power trolley. Hrmf! The battery is 4 years old and I haven't tried 27 holes in a day with it in years..... it gave up on the 22nd, meaning I was pushing almost 4 stone of kit in front of me up these hills and down these dales for almost 2 miles, pausing only to play shots in between. No wonder I lost 3 lbs lol. Then Wednesday I played fantastic for nine holes, the tiredness kicked in, and I was awful on the back nine. Went from a position of potentially winning the competition to probably not even getting my handicap cut. Nightmare. Had chips with chili sauce and a bottle of wine to make up for it
Thank god I don't have any real problems, I dunno how I'd console myself0 -

:rotfl::rotfl:Ha ha, what a great way back into the thread!
Hi everyone, hope you're all doing okay, apart from Ajax who is clearly inconsolableWe had a fantastic time in Holland, the festival was brilliant and Rage were ******* awesome! :j Health is surprisingly good considering, and am having a lovely 11-day celebration of my b'day - well, one's never enough is it?
OH brought me breakfast in bed yesterday - fresh fruit salad with yoghurt, cran and black juice and a medicinal honey, lemon and ginger, yum! - had a chilled out day in the sunshine with my cats, a country walk to our favourite pub and then back for champagne and gorgeous meal. We're off to Wales for the weekend for a surprise too, so I'm being properly spoilt.
Will try and catch up with this thread at least, can't believe we're on LW21 now! Lots love to everyone xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Okay, only got up to page 5 but Marion had me welling up and then Starlight sent me over the edge! It's SO lovely to meet you Marion, what a fabulous achievement, and I look forward to you revealing more of yourself as you feel able to. Starlight, thankyou so much for sharing your story, truly inspiring.
Right I'm off for a rest before anyone else makes me blub but just want to say a big hello to all the newcomers who've joined since I've been away (an amazing number in less than a week!). What a great bunch of people you're about to get to know! The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Aw Ajax. I would have caddied for you (especially if it meant a 3lb loss
)
Yeah Bails is back! Glad you had a great time!I've heard of people stretching out their birthday celebrations for a few days but I think 11 is a record :rotfl:
My pedometer is pants. After yesterday I've tested it today by doing a walk exactly 1km from my house, and back using the same route, and I got almost 200 steps difference between the two  I could understand a small difference, but not 200 steps! So who can recommend one that will do the job properly?
Right I'm going trampolining. Don't laugh0 -
Bails: Sounds like youve had an awesome time!! Hope you had a lovelly birthday and that the weather is good for you in sheep land
Ajax: Thats a bum you lost. Always next year? ha. I do get narked with golf, i always manage to pick the days with high wind. My hair is too short to have up, but long enough to whip in my face so i normally just wack the ball one and hope its gone in the right direction! Good job i dont work in your company (unless i was in wales)
Granny: How are you granny? Feels a loooooong time since weve said howdy.
Missyg: Sounds like you were concentrating on keeping your trousers up to notice how far you had run! ha. You'll beat those times easy im sure.0 -
Right, i stripped naked early (checked the place for any covert cameras, there was none :P ) And i gave myself a full body measure!
My stats are: Waist: 30 inches and a half. Hips: 42 inches Thighs: right leg 24 and a half inches, left leg 24 inches Boobly wooblys: 34 inches.
And what is the most funniest thing in all, that since i lost that pound way back when, i have STFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was well up for thinking i had put weight on, cos ive litterally pigged out but nope! in the last 2 months or so that ive not weighed myself i have not gained or lost since. Grrrrr.
so hopefully these figures will come down. Ive set myself a target to get to 9 stone and a half. I weigh 10 stone 3 so thats a loss of 9lbs isnt it???
I went out for a walk with matt last night, it was really niceIm going ballroom dancing tonight and i'll do some steps today aswell. I had soup for lunch so hopefully im in the right direction. I may even take a leaf out of tagz's book and do some aqua aerobics!
for now, Call of duty 4 online!! see ya later folks.0 -

I didn't realise you played the noble game vix. Good on yer

….. lol you aint got 3lb to lose, ya skinny bint . Seriously though missy “currently BMI 19.9” ß and you want to lose more? It’s none of my business what figures you want to achieve but if you had a medical for any reason now the doc would be telling you that you are now officially underweight. While BMI is taken with a small pinch of salt, I’d hope that is something you consider when you assess your targets.
Bails, where were you in Holland? I love the Dutch - have to be the bestest bunch of people on the planet.

no vix, it's 10 lbs. Sorry0 -
good afternoon,
sorry I did not post yesterday, but I weigh in on a Thursday morning with SW, and did not want to look, but I have a loss of 3 lb :j :j :j which I am really pleased with, and takes my total loss to 8lb in two weeks. I got my half stone certificate and sticker and I also won tea (pizza) in the SW raffle.
going for 4 lb next week which is going to be really hard as I am away over the weekend at my little Bros 21st. Think Ill change my drink to either vodka and diet coke / lemonade (and not let my middle bro near them as last time i did and my aunty was not happy with the results:whistle: ) or bacardi, lime and sodaThe sign of a wasted life is a tidy house, Welcome to the chaos!0 -
