It is 11 - you have to question whether the education system in this country works don't you..!
LL
Lois, which education system comes up with the sum 7 + 3 = 11 ? I've done it on a calculator, an abacus, 37 times in my head and I still make it 10.... under jeans..?
LL
hell no Lois!! You dont get the Mona Lisa and throw a tin of beans over it!
Missy, no pep talk hunnybunch. Just dont want you to get too skinny.
Lemon Drop the good thing about big recent gains is that - if you dedicate for a couple of weeks - you can get rid of them almost as soon as they came. The longer you leave it though, the more difficult it gets0 -

It's an extra large and i can fasten the bottom 3 hooks and the top hook. Should give everyone a shock come july at any rate!
I would love to wear a corset!! I think they look so sexy! Maybe something to add to my wish list when I'm slimmer.katiepoppycat wrote: »i'm finding huge plusses and minuses with this calorie thing. I've reined in today and addressed where i went over in the past couple of days - which is something I didn't do on sw - day one is all very well, but have day one every 3 days and its a hiding to nothing. I also find that i'm less likely to bend the rules to make something fit - cos there's nowhere to bend! On the one hand, I like being able to pick something up for lunch or whatever and just be able to look at the back of the pack to decide whether or not it fits. On the other, it's a real pain for scratch cooking - I'm listing ingredients and then having to look up fat and cals for everything, then add it up and split by the portion number - I can see how it would eventually get easier (thanks missy) but I'm a real experimental cook and it's a pain to have to go into this much detail when menu planning. I think the tesco thing will get knocked on the head - it's a great idea, but there just aren't enough products in their database - even their own label stuff. It is quite good for calorie references though!
I purposely didn't want a 'diet' with points or counting calories as I didn't want to get into the habit and spent the rest of my life thinking of foods in points value.
I have a friend at work who was on WW, show her anything and she can tell you how many points it is. I want to enjoy my food without thinking how many points I have left etc.
Not that I'm knocking it!! Everyone works in different ways, it worked for her!! It's just not for me.katiepoppycat wrote: »am slightly worried about OH too. I was offered buy one get one half price. My first thought was 'great, OH can have a pair'. I got home and announced I'd got him a pair of fishnet holdups. He was pleased and said it saved him a job. Did i mention that he's going as a saloon girl too?

Oh my God!! I've been thinking for a while that my bra is getting too big, so I thought I'd have a little measure and see what size I am now.
I have gone from a 44DD to a 40D!! *faints* this means that around my chest I have lost about 10 inches!! *faints again*:D:D
This also now means that I can find my size bra in supermarkets!! Usually they do up to 44D or 40DD, but never my size! So I can get cheapy bras to tide me over til I get down to my target weight, will get too expensive having to keep buying.
I hate having big bazongas, so this is great news to me.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Yey louise_1981. Nice loss there :j
mark88man – many congrats on hitting your midway target. :T
Wonderful news on the shrinkage raphael :j . I (un)fortunately never had a ‘problem’ like that but my friend did. Every summer I could have cried with her as her straps caused her shoulders to bleed. The fact that she worked in a very hot kitchen didn’t help her and eventually she went under the knife
The before and after pics are amazing (like the new ‘after’ pic Suggs. I could have sworn it used to be one taken in a bedroom! Maybe it’s my imagination running away with me again) and a bigger incentive then the stories in the slimming mags. I figure it’s because the people in the mags are strangers whereas here you ‘know’ the people in the pictures and share their ups and downs.
Why aren’t you up there Ajax?
I’ve had my usual major fall again (started at the bank holiday weekend and ended last night!!!) but this time I’ve not quit and I’m not kidding myself any longer. I’m also not going to confuse myself over which plan I’m going to follow and I’m sticking with SW. All this talk of other plans to follow messed me up last time
I really need to start using the thread properly again because I often miss saying congrats to people and feel it’s too late to say 4 or 5 pages later :rotfl: . I’m going to go through the first page again and pinch some recipes.
Not much to add to the thread so hope everyone has a fabulous day.
Last thing – can I have a link to the Wii fit thread please? Can’t find it for the life of me! Went to look in the shop for it (the Wii fit not the thread!) and got side tracked by Mario and Dragonquest games. I may actually have to take the Wii out of it’s box for the Dragonquest game although I’m addicted to my online gaming atm…
