My mum & step-dad live on a canal boat, lovely way of life, very peaceful.

I've been ice-skating today! Not been for ages, some time last year I think! Had great fun, and didn't fall over. Then I picked up some sushi on the way home, very delicious, wish I could make my own.

I've been weighing each morning (I know I shouldn't) but just for interest, Monday morning is the one I will take notice of.
Looking like it's going good so far :D today it dropped below 200 lbs! :D Might make my June target after all.

It's pretty much the only affordable housing in the city though unless you have red or blue neon in your windows :) I try to get to Amsterdam at least once a year for the football....:D Come the European championships, I'll be the one dressed in orange!!

I love the way the conversation always goes when I speak to Mr or Mrs Dutchperson:

"Hello, sorry... spreek je Engels?" (hehe cos I'm so clever  )
    "Yes, a little"
"Great! Could you please tell me......"

...and then they proceed to speak much better English than I ever will. :( I know it's said all the time, but as a nation we are so pants and disrespectful when it comes to other languages.

Excellent stuff raph ... below 200 lbs is my ultimate dream. It's a long way to there from here though...

Blimey Ajax, I offer to be your glamorous assistant and all I get is a pep talk ;) No I'm not trying to lose 3lb more, that was tongue in cheek, I'm 0.5lb off where I want to be to give myself an appropriate amount of leeway to use and abuse - off on my hols next month and we all know what that means :D

I'm not underweight, never have been and would never intentionally go there - I would have to lose another 7lb to be officially underweight! So I'm NOT a skinny bint, I'm an ideal bint thank u very much :rotfl:

Raph - why is it everyone who wants to skate lives nowhere near me!!! Glad you had a good time and no falls. Nobody I know round here wants to skate :( Good luck with your target - must have felt great looking at those scales today!

hello all, glad to see you are all okay.

Belated wishes Bails, hope you had a good birthday.

Well guys, I am back off my hols to the Isle of Wight and apart from some dreary weather, I got a little bit of sun and feel nicely relaxed. plus, I was happy to go on the pictures we took! Still not too keen on how I looked on some, but then who is always happy?

Must now get down to sorting my weight issues out and I can start to like myself even more!

Well done to all the losers and maintainers (especially for you Suggs!)

    Take care all.

    Hi - just checking in.
Had another good day CC - can't believe how many calories I was wasting before!
Had a good workout last night at the gym - our trainer had us working outside and watching each other walk up and down lunging made us laugh so much it was a workout itself lol.
There are so many people on this thread it is going to take me ages to work out who is who, but thanks for letting me join in and feel part of this so quickly.
    Lesley.
