I hope you have a wonderful week away Efrieze! (Am I imagining things or is this your third holiday this year? Good for you if it is!!! :D)

It is absolutely my third holiday this year! Australia in Jan, Israel in April and again in Israel now. Get back next week then I'm off to Switzerland for a long weekend. It's amazing what I can fit in when working full time! Holidays are my one extravagance - and if my DH goes away on business, I find a way to latch on. He is working on the Euro 2008 ticketing and so has to be in Switzerland after we return from this holiday (!) and so I thought it was very MSE to join him in his free hotel room!!!!!

Efrieze if you are only going to help out because of an MS initiative, and not in order to have a good time yourself, I think that's very noble of you :)
i have a great solution for the thighs thing - wear hold up stockings and insist that it is the stocking tops that rub, not your thighs. Works for me!

... stockings should be obligatory for girls anyway.

What a lovely day. Somewhat irksome to be stuck here at work.

Suggs what part of the midlands are you in today?

I spent over £150 on the Nike website yesterday :o My current gym gear has done me well for the past year or so, but it was definitely time for an overhaul. I've bought two complete sets of all-purpose workout gear plus fitness gloves and a few other bits. I've been out running today and I was literally having to pull my capri bottoms up every few minutes - they are supposed to be skintight but they fall off my hips :rotfl:

Ooh heckers missyg - that could put a serious crimp in your running!:rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning all!

Hope everyone's doing fine on this beautiful day :D

Tagz, that's a bit of a pain telling you your class was cancelled AFTER you were already in the water  Glad to see you're getting good use out of that crosstrainer! I [STRIKE]tried not to notice[/STRIKE] saw yesterday they have brought out two Kirsty treadmills now :p :rotfl:

Thank you for the chart Lois - wow there are loads of us! I can be removed, I don't need to be showing as 'on hold', if that's OK? I did try to be on the chart for maintainers but I found it difficult and slightly demotivating to have the emphasis on weekly & monthly losses/gains. I feel that while maintaining, my weight fluctuations and sometimes intentional losses/gains don't matter too much as long as I stay below my upper BMI limit - hope this makes sense - it's just my personal view and I know other maintainers feel differently :)

KPC, I'm really interested to hear how you're getting on with the calorie counting, thanks for posting your impressions. When I started I made a list of all my regular foods and worked out calorie counts for my portion sizes. This was a bit of work to set up initially, but it makes the daily counting part easy, and I add new things to the master list as they come along. Anyway just want to say I'm impressed that you're willing to give something else a try even though SW obviously suits you well eating wise :D Perhaps a combination of the two will end up being the key?

Thanks Petrichor, I'm a bit embarrassed by the whole distance palaver yesterday :o but now that's sorted thank goodness. It's easy for me to find the time, we are only talking an average of about an hour a day, and I doubt that's any more than most people spend on something they're quite dedicated to, whatever that may be :) As for the ice hockey, Detroit took the Cup last night and they very much deserved to win, they were class! So no more ice hockey, but it's not long until the next major sporting event I'll be following ;)

Efrieze, ooh how fabulous! :D I love Switzerland. Hope you're having a brill time in Israel so far!

    How was the golfing, Ajax?
