Hi - welcome Lainie - I am relative newbie here too and you find these people so helpful and supportive - it's always a joy to come and read the thread at the end of a day, especially if you haven't had such a good d day!

Well - I am delighted to report that for another week I have sts which I am more than happy with - it's time to get my a%&$ back into gear and start losing again! That trip to Germany really made me wobble with my plan so I am releived to have ended up the same.

Hope evryone has a sussessful weigh in this week.:A :A

:rotfl: :rotfl: caught up with myself, I should have waited, never mind:o ...

...Welcome back Lainie :T I do remember you, and I'm pleased that you've decided to rejoin us. Well done on losing 13 lbs and here's hoping that it continues :j stay with us even if things get a bit tough as the group support here is invaluable :j :j ...

...Marion Happy Anniversary  I had to laugh about you getting the years wrong, I think we can all commiserate :rotfl: and at least you didn't gain so well done :j ...

...LL, Missy, kpc and Bb Thanks for your kind words, I feel I don't deserve them:o So I'll skip quickly to the tennis :D...

... It really is quite hard when the draw throws up a match like this but I must say I've been expecting it. As Murray didn't play here last year he has no points to protect, whereas Nadal was the finalist last year so he has to at least protect those points or better them by winniing the championship this year. Murray will be well within the top 10 rankings next Monday, even if he loses today. Despite normally being a crowd favourite Nadal will be facing a home boy which can so boost a player's confidence so Murray will have that advantage. So, who will I be supporting? Sorry peeps, but it will be Nadal :happyhear If he loses then Murray for the cup, in fact anyone but Roger 'the git' Federer (when I have time I'll briefly explain why I don't like him)...This has nothing to do with it ....15hn78y.jpg:rotfl: :rotfl: Missy will appreciate it for the sporting physique as do I ;) ...

...BB Alphonse will be back from his hols after Wimbledon, I've had a postcard from him and he says he's having a swimmingly good time :D ...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Here here. I remember you from before and I know you were having trouble with your son? How is he doing? I tried to look you up to see you were doing ok when you stopped posting here and I assumed that 'life got in the way' (thanks Beanie) of your weight loss journey. I hope we can be a source of support and encouragement this time round.

Well, I am very pleased (and somewhat surprised) to report a 4lb loss this week. Together with last week's 3lb loss, that wipes out my 7lb holiday gain the previous week! So I am back to my minimum - hurray! I am desperate to lose at least 1.5 lbs more to get myself into the next range of weight! I know it's only numbers (bails) but it is what motivates me.
