Afternoon all!
I'm busy packing up today - I hate packing! Shipping some boxes home so have to make sure they are water tight (lined them with layers of bubble wrap and wrapped up everything inside in either carrier bags or bubble wrap - so hopefully they'll be okay).
I'm somewhat concerned by the amount of clothes/shoes/bags I have. I'm going to do a test pack today to see if my baggage is within the 25 kilo allowance. I highly suspect it's not going to be  I've packed my winter jackets, hats, gloves and scarves into one of the shipping boxes so that should help the situation a bit. If I'm totally over I'm going to have ship another box home - hopefully won't come to that - we shall see!
BrightonBelle,
"If that makes sense" is それが意味を成していれば in Japanese. In English letters: "Sore ga imi wo na!!!!!ireba". (see below)
EDIT - some of the letters have been censored (replaced by !!!!) there are 5 missing letters s*h*i*t*e - that looks really bad! I just noticed after I posted :rotfl:
It's a 1 kilo - 2.2lbs loss for me this week. That brings my weight loss total to 17.6 pounds! wooo hoooo! I'm just 1 more kilo away from my first mini target.
Lainy - welcome back to the thread :j . I'm a relative newbie so I don't know you from before. 13 pounds is a great achievement - well done :T ! I set myself "mini targets" and treat myself to something (new bag/haircut etc) after I achieve them. As Suggs already mentioned there's some great links in his post (way back on page one). I personally find the "before and after" shots very motivating!
Bright Idea, Lemon Drop, KPC and Efrieze congrats on your great losses! :T

Morning all. Chart day:j :j . A sts for me which is quite good considering TOTM and I'm as tender as er... a tender thing.
Laine - it's great to have you back - I remember you from your story too. Well done for getting back to it. We have other members here who have tackled large losses - as suggs says, so to the first post and see some before and after photos for inspiration. Would you like to be added to our July challenge (see post one) I can add you to the chart today. Every bit of motivation helps.
I got muddles re the Finnish bit raph: - yes, it was satu I was told that was definitey Finish for fairytale, not marru.

Sorry I've not been back- real life got in the way of forum posting. In the last two weeks (missed last week due to being in Cambridge) I've lost 7½lbs so I'm doing okay, considering I've not been food optimising at allPurple Penguin Power!

Well done PLG - you have very quickly built up a very good total loss. It's great. Do you have much more to lose? Didn't look like it in your previous picture!0 -

Thanks efrieze!
Another 6 kilos will take me to the top range of the correct weight for my height. I'm very excited as I've been overweight all my adult life!
I'm waiting until I reach that point before deciding on a final target."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
