plg, i reckon thats weight ofr weight, not portion per portion. bit misleading really!
all this running talk, makes me come over all faint. Got DRENCHED tonight doing my rounds. can't even imagine wanting to go out for a run in it. Really fancied a chines but sugg's article scared me off - I'm going to buy one from the supermarket for the weekend instead. OH is away again so it's a mega clean up for me! Has anyone else felt this week really dragged? Be glad when it's tomorrow night!0 -
Annie - congratulations :T :T on your degree and QTS ... welcome to the best career in the world. (That's just my opinion, obviously, no disrespect to IT people, aeronautical people, lingerie people, running own deli business people etc etc etc ......)0

Just back from Parents Evening at twins new school - OMG  reminds me of my first day at senior school!! Spoke to ex husband about school uniforms for them (its a condition of the Court Order
) and he wants details emailed to him before he will confirm that he will come down and spend some time with us buying them. He has also renaiged (?) on his weekend with the twins this weekend - amazing how he can move the goalposts when it suits him! Twins don't seem that bothered which is good and maybe a sign of how things will become in the not too distant future

Hey everyone.
Oh i still dont know what to say ha. Thanks for the support and understanding though, youre all fabulous!
My laptop battery is going to die in a minute.
I understand what youre saying BB. It is another one of those crap transitional stages in life that suck big time!! I wiill defo think long and hard about a career in lingerie though..
anyway im mega tired and i got a long day tomorrow. Going for a !!!! up with the lingerie girls. Feel like i need to let my hair down a bit.
Hope you all have a good weekend. Take care x0 -
I feel like I have achieved today - bigtime. I lost 5lbs last week but yesterday was last day at uni so there was cakes and a meal out, I didn't drink but ate what I wanted.
Usually I would continue the bad eating for several days, often leading to total meltdown of diet. MY WORST NIGHTMARE. But........today I was back down to it and even refused a donut at work. I really feel this is a massive step for me and I hope to report a loss next Wednesday.:j0 -

Thanks Brighton belle . I have to admit, I've had a very good day today... hopefully I'm getting the hang of this plan. - Tell me what you think....
breakfast was Lois's rice pudding 1 x HeA, rice free & sweetner
I had a sneaky scone and jam, the lesser of 2 evils, at tea time 8.5syns
Lunch was pasta n sauce & an activia fat free yoghurt (free)
afternoon tea was mullerlight toffee & a banana & an apple
Dinner was SW sausages, beans & potatos (HeB, & Free)
then I had....
ryvita & applewood smoked cheese with tomato chutney & grapes, 1 x heA, 1 heB, 1 syn & free. the most gorgeous, indulgent snack which WW would totally hammer you for.:T
and
a skinny cow ice lolly 4.5syns:D
Tomorrow's plan so far is:
breakfast is blank
tea time is usual fruit
lunch is baked sweet potato, with salad & laughing cow extra light cheese
pm is blank.
dinner is chicken curry (heB & 2 syns), rice & sw chips.
If I could plan and eat like this all of the time I don't think this will be too much of a problem. We'll see how the weekend goes!Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
"...naan bread contains more calories, weight for weight, than chicken tikka masala" I thought nan bread was okay!
So did I  Never, ever again! Though must admit to liking it and thought it was better than having a few chips with curry. I'd even had them with Korma too!!! That's it now, curry and rice alone!missyg wrote:I've just scored 1797 out of 1800 on my Norwegian language test. Well chuffed
That's amazing missy! I love German and am trying to get to grips with that at the mo.

ylou wouldn't BELIEVE the noises ajax i making under here now. Vix, that 'career in lingerie' thing was just too much for him i think.
my dad sent me some some information that he thought might be helpful for my business. There's a place in Bacup called the fudge factory that do a resellers deal - you basically bulk buy and get all the little bags, gloves, cutter etc that you need to sell on the fudge and make a really good prfit on it. Trouble is, there's just one package - and it involves buying 48 kilos of fudge! IF i could store it, I'd do it, but I can't. I thought it might be interesting for anyone doing a fundraiser or a school fete or something. OR if someome thinks they can get through 48 kilos of fudge. it's www.thefudgefactory.co.uk and look for resellers package.0 -
