Fruit juices and even smoothies are horribly full of sugars, I guess naturally occurring sugars can be considered ok, but added sugars? I still like a banana every now and then.
Which one? you left two doors open I had such a choice!
Dum de dum de dum de dum....................charge!!!
:rotfl:
SW take the view that the sugars in fruit are ok to get stuck in to as much as you like as the fibre content makes up for it if you eat the fruit... ie you can eat an apple, an orange, a banana and half a pound of strawberries if you like, but you can't stick it in a blender and make a smoothie out of it as you are not getting the filling effect of the fruits.
Fantastic stuff with your loss. I remember you losing a whole Petrichor way back... you'll soon be up to losing a whole Ajax if you carry on lol (well, not quite, I'm letting you down by not losing fast enough to help you out). Hmmm... maybe we should try and meet halfway0 -
Excellent milestone Suggs. Under 100kg. That's fab.
I have found that the running really seems to move the weight (especially if it's new-ish to your body, so a welcome change). My scales have moved another 3lbs down in the last 2 days! I know I shouldn't check so regularly, especially as I know that when I see higher numbers than I hope for, it causes me to be p#@~ed off and then eat more cos I am cross!
Anyway, rain last night kept me off my mate's bicycle (I'm not hardcore yet!). But hopefully I will be cycling soon....0 -

Yes - signed up yesterday but it's the other way round run-cycle-run!
I wondered whether the hardcore comment would attract attention!

Usually I would continue the bad eating for several days, often leading to total meltdown of diet. MY WORST NIGHTMARE. But........today I was back down to it and even refused a donut at work. I really feel this is a massive step for me and I hope to report a loss next Wednesday.:j
That is the trick! You have to learn to treat yourself then stopwell done!
Goes for the same re: the takeaways too. I usually have one every couple of months, I know that they are basically flavored fat, but I enjoy them because of that, then get back on the diet

Whilst in the salon I read an article about weight loss - it mentioned to beware of fruit juices as they contain the SAME if not MORE amount of sugar compared to fizzy drinks.
I think it's recommended only 250ml a day for fruit juice. I know that only one glass counts towards your 5 a day, no matter how much you drink, so I think 250ml sounds about right.
